Cool spot, stopped in for brunch and was blown away by the interesting menu. Our table had the french toast, pancakes, and the avocado toast and their was nothing but full faces and head nods. My french toast was one of my favorites and the best I've had in a long time. My coffee was strong and well made.Diego was our waiter and he killed, super personable and prompt. He seemed to really love the menu and knew it inside out. Thanks man!The atmosphere was dope, updated old-school diner right across the street from downtown. Chill spot and the cool old hotrods and caddy's parked in the lot didn't hurt either. I am looking forward to the next time I am in Houston as i will for sure be back, I want to try their paella.

It's was an absolute pleasure dining at District 7. The staff is nice and accommodating. Don't let the look in the outside fool you. The lambchops are DELICIOUS! They NEVER disappoint!

Great place amid the hustle and bustle of surrounding streets! Excellent patio and open kitchen counter and booth diner style interior. Menu will please anyone looking for delicious American fare including seafood tacos and juicy burgers. Try the truffle frys with your selection. Friendly and prompt staff!

Kinda slow for a Sunday but still a nice little vibe on the patio. The cover even protected us from a random thunderstorm & the heater kept it warm enough to stay on the patio after the cool breeze that followed. My mom & I both ordered a Classic Angus Burger cooked medium well with cheese & we both agreed the burgers were pretty perfect...so were the fries!Wish I had room for dessert because you can just tell that it's all quality food - next time cause there will be a next time.

The best french toast in the entire Houston area. Been living here over 5 years and I have finally found my favorite breakfast spot. Love the atmosphere, the staff and the food. Will definitely will be coming back.

1st off Great atmosphere and our waiter she was amazing! We sat inside and had the pitcher of mimosas with the juice on the side. We really enjoyed our food temperature of food could have been hotter. Presentation was great! Please try the Crawfish Hush Puppies.......Diner style eating we would most definitely return again.

Overall a decent place but I’m so observant that I couldn’t enjoy myself fully with what I saw. Ordered the blackened mahi-mahi (which lack seasoning) but was okay. The thing that got me uneasy was watching Anna the manager roll silverware while touching her nose, hair, & cell phone intermittently at the bar countertop while waiting for my order. Kind of freaked me out so I asked for plasticware. The other observation I made (which speaks to their hiring practices) was that nearly 70% of the patrons who came, sat, & ate while I was there were BLACK. But the 16 or so employees working there were all HISPANIC. Not 1 single black server! (Not even a bus boy/girl). So disparaging bc this place is in 4th ward! Black Mecca for black folks. I hope this review changes that. Not racist but I at least want to see 1 or 2 people that look like me working where I spend my money.Prices are kind of high but it balances out since you don’t have to pay for parking.
