I love this spot! They serve decent meals, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that spot is a real pro, I like a lot eating all their food. The food is always of high qualtity, the service towards the guests is very good too. I often eat in this place and I was never disappointed. I recommend this place.

First day without a Dolce Vita here in Houston, which is a very sad day. A very sad day, indeed. Thanks for all the wonderful pasta, great appetizers and of course, those wonderfully charred pies. Hope you come back someday.

Great service, decent pizza, fairly accomodating and quick. I went in with a friend who'd never been to wish the longtime Montrose staple well before it shut its doors for good-- and had a decent time! I went in expecting to pay around $16 for an off-personal sized Margherita pizza.. But but didn't expect their signature pizzas being stingy on the non-dough goodies! Perhaps they were running low on ingredients? It seemed like the crust had the same surface area as the Margherita (4 small pieces of Motz & a few basil leaves on a 12"-14" pie), so that the pizza was definitely giving off dry vibes.

The pizza is bad. We tried two pizzas and both were soggy, under flavored and with minimal toppings. Nothing good about the pizza. Have spent plenty of time in Italy, includes Naples. This is not Italian pizza. The salad was pretty lame as well - just lettuce and cheese with oil on it.

I love this place. I absolutely love love love this place. It brings back so many memories of my family and I eating great food together. The calamari is not your average calamari. It's mixed with citrus and olives, is not fried, and is quite refreshing! The goat cheese croquettes have to be one of my favorite things on the menu. I think the last time my family and I came here, we kept ordering pizza after pizza because it they were all so good. We wanted to try them all! The caprese is pretty light with good flavor. The sausage and broccoli flower pizza is a little bitter but still great. Obviously the Margherita pizza is one of the best. The prosciutto and pear pizza is different but enjoyable. The favorite of them all was the pizza with clams. Oh, if only I could eat here every day for as long as Dolce Vita is open, I could!

How in the heck have I never posted a review of one of our fav Italian restaurants?! We have been eating here for probably almost 10 years. We have eaten just about everything in the menu and it is absolutely delicious! They have the most simple, but flavorful pastas ever! The freshest fish specials and delicious pizza. You would literally close your eyes, point on the menu and it will be delicious. You will not go wrong here. Once everything has settled down with Covid, we will have our first sit in meal here, but that probably will not be until 2021.
