An institution here in Houston, it's all about the sandwich (Bánh Mì). Yes this have other type of Vietnamese food here, but they are known for the sandwich (Bánh Mì). If you are getting to go like a lot of customers there. You may see a crowd near the front, but not everyone is in line to buy the sandwich so pay attention to the line near the cash register for you to order your food. The person at the register can speak multiple languages, I heard English, Vietnamese, and Spanish. This place is cash only. All of the sandwich are great and very fresh.

This place is killing it. Their banh mis are delicious, especially the special mixed and BBQ pork (has grilled taste), the shredded chicken could use more meat. The pickled veggies are delish. I wish they would put more, then again, why would they, since they are selling them on the side if you want extra.
They are still back in time the 80's only accepting CASH, the 80's also applies to the interior. It really needs some update and some TLC. Don't get me wrong, I love this place. Love the banh mi!!!

If there’s 0 star I would rate them 0. There’s one Hispanic lady that is so rude. She’s the one that making the sandwich behind the counter. Not just that They messed up my order too. I ordered on the phone for the veggies on the side and one banh mi Giò. He heard something else and put in the fatty ham and veggies in it. I told them that’s not what I ordered and the Hispanic guy said that’s what he heard. I pretty sure he couldn’t understand Vietnamese that well and should have repeat the order before he hang up. Also, I expect them to redo it and they wouldn’t. I’ll never come back because of the workers are so rude. Btw, their banh mi is not that good like back then.
The best Banh mi in town. We love the combination and grilled pork with extra mayo and extra pate. Sometime if i need more comfy food i will Go for a bowl of Pho or wonton noodle soup. My family has pretty much ate everything on the menu. We love this place so much. Family owned .

It's been awhile since I had the banh mi from here. I enjoyed the special because of the meat. This is the second time in a while and the sandwiches are disappointing. I asked for an egg this time but I am assuming he didn't hear me. I had mostly stale bread and lack of ingredients and pate.

One of my favorite bahn mi sandwiches, the bread is light and crisp and the char-grilled pork is my go to sandwich and I think one of the best in the city. I have been a customer for over 20 years and enjoy it every time I visit.

Today I went shopping in this place and I was very disgusted to see that there is a Chinese woman making sandwiches without a glove so she grabs the bread and prepares the sandwiches. I recommend having more hygiene. Please remember that hygiene is very important. We are not sure if You have washed your hands and disinfected them perfectly, more caution in that please.

food is very good. it’s always been good. my family’s been coming here since I was a kid. the service on the other-hand sucks. owners are rude. there’s an employee constantly walking around pushing chairs in when you’re trying to sit. the cashier guy wasn’t bad.
the price has gone up, as with anything. used to be able to get 5 sandwiches for $10. now it’s around $5.50 each
