Manager was rude 645pm 2/21
Tried #25 bun suong tom noodle soup. It’s good. Usually we just buy the grilled pork sandwiches which are super good. Price is still better than other places but the Vietnamese sandwiches are the best here!

I ordered a special combination banh mi for lunch, and I suffered a bad stomach virus and vomit afterwards. Also, the amount of ingredients in the banh mi had decreased significantly.
The Hispanic guy needs to work on his customer service skills by not yelling to the customers in a rude manner. I will not be coming back anymore.

On recent visits, I have noticed that the quality of the sandwiches has declined. They lack the crunch and flavor that previously distinguished this establishment. It was once considered the best Vietnamese sandwich place in town. It is essential that the restaurant restores its former standards; otherwise, its new reputation might diminish this legacy.

Alief staple period! Been coming here since I was a kid and they still standing! The crunch on the French baguette nom nom. You can still watch them make your sandwich at the window after ordering and paying first. Beware Cash Only. $6 for my BBQ Pork Banh mi

pâté is $1 extra added to the bánh mì menu prices & must be requested when ordering to be sure you get upcharged.
previously, pâté was always included in their bánh mì w/o an upcharge or modification. if they want an extra $, increase it in the menu prices & keep the ingredients unchanged
Cash only. Charged me for food they never brought. Could not speak English to understand their own menu (in a 3rd language). Clearly operating under the table.

The first two times I have been here were good, but today was my third time and it was not as good. The soup noodles didn’t taste good this time, and there was also hair in the bean sprouts. The next plate of bean sprouts also had hair, so I got a third plate of bean sprouts. It also took a while for the food to come out today and I had to order at the counter since no one came to the table. Also most of the workers do not speak English.

Banh mi was crunchy and sharp but meat was like shoe rubber. The soups and pho come with almost no noodles and the waiters did not serve us waters our whole visit, after asking 3-4 times.
