If I could give this restaraunt a 0 stars I would, I use to love this place back in the days. After 13 years I decide to try to come back with my family and eat worst mistake ever I spent 80 dollars and we all left food my husband had the asado the puerco, everything was cold the flavor was not it. I would never come back back waist of money. Sorry to say so disappointed.

Their large party seating area is cramped. The service is better than the food. Nothing extraordinary about the atmosphere. Hate the karaoke nights... too loud & not my thing. I had the Texas Burrito with Al Pastor & good spice but too salty, but portion for 2 people. Overall decent place to eat but I only go cause friends like it. BTW, I love to cook & I can make most everything they serve there with better taste that suits me.

Called in for lunch takeout- ordered a beef fajita quesadilla. I wanted rice and bean so they said that the lunch would come with R/B. There was an up charge for the beef fajita which price wasn't mentioned, but I was thinking a couple dollars. Pick up my meal and the order was $23. The lunch quesadilla is like 11 bucks. That's one hell of an up charge. So with my pricey lunch in hand I have my hopes that for this price point it will rival Pappasito's. Nope. Not remotely close.Food was ok, but nothing that would make you return. The quesadilla definitely wasn't $23 good. Maybe this explains the empty parking lot. Anyways, that's the review.

One of the best options for dinner. Very friendly staff, excellent quality of food and very clean. I highly recommend you. Mr. Stathatos is an amazing businessman and we thank him very much for the invitation.

Awesome food, awesome service. Upscale atmosphere, upscale food without upscale prices. Some of the best salsa in town too. Definitely a hidden gem in SW Houston.

I'll be honest, I didn't expect it to be so good, it started with he chips and salsa...salsa was warm, I always enjoy that, and tasted great! Then my whole family and myself all made comments on how delicious everything tasted!

Really starting to enjoy this new spot for us. So far the staff is amazing and very kind. The food is consistently good as well but the Watermelon Margaritas and awesome bartenders here are why we keep paying a visit late in the evening and stay til closing time??Thank y'all @Don Carlos

I went their to wind down and have a drink and of course the bartender Katie was busy but they had the afternoon manager Giovanni helping her greet and work tables which I thought was cool. But Lillie did I know that the manager let me sit their for almost 10 minutes until the bartender was free. She took my order and I got my drink about five minutes later with my chips and salsa, again my bartender and food was great but the manager made my experience horrible!!!!. While I was finally eating to gentlemen walked up and before they could sit down the manager greeted cheerfully and put their drinks in and made them for the bartender. Before they could put their foot on the stool hood they were getting their drinks. Of course they were not of African American accent but got wonderful treatment. I told this to the bartender she apologized about my concerns and went to tell the manger and he just laughed with a attitude and never came over to even apologize! As I’m checking out I ask the bartender did she talk to him she said yes but he never came to my table to address the issue. So I took away if your not of the Mexican race you don’t get treated well their !!!!!!!! Even tho the food was good and the bartender was compassionate and working hard, I will never come back due to the manager who simply do t know how to give the same service to his black customers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very good Mexican food. You can try Spicy Margaritas with either Mango or Peach flavors. You can also get Vegetarian option in some dishes there.

Service was excellent and the food was even better. I had the stuffed avocado, which was new to me and it was delicious. They were also very generous with the servings. As a matter of fact Im eating my leftovers right now. Will definitely be going back.

If I could give zero stars, I would! This is one of the worst Mexican restaurants in the area. The service was slow and barely came back to accommodate us. We had to go up to the waitress to ask for chips. The food was nasty. The queso was chunky. It was not even melted all the way, the food was warm, and it wasn’t even hot. My sister got sick afterward. The meat was nasty. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Started with a broken appointment. My wife says let's have breakfast at Don Carlos. So she orders the big breakfast and I get my favorite all veggie meal. Her meal has extra pork chop two something so I say get that for me. That pork chop was delicious, juicy and plentiful. You could cut it with a fork. If you want American or Mexican breakfast try Don Carlos on hwy 69 inbound.
