A wonderful place in the Second Ward of Houston. Great breakfast menu with traditional Mexican-style breakfast, with pancakes as an option if you so desire! Served fresh & made to order with a staff eager to please! My favorite is the porkchops, eggs how ya like 'em with beans & potatoes! Coffee is also hot/fresh! There's always a good crowd on Sundays, with others who like me, know a good place when they taste it! Highly recommend!

Our first time. We had a wonderful breakfast experience at Doña Maria. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special blessing giving to us and over our business shared by Juan’s wife, Anna made the moment even more meaningful and memorable.

Came here again for my second time because it was good the first time I came today on July 13 2025 I waited 10 minutes and nobody ever came to my table with menus or ask what I want to drink, really unprofessional and when the two servers and the people doing the cashier they saw me sit down and nothing i just walk out and I will not come here again…
