We had booked a table for five and when we arrived the only table they had for us was a high top next to the open kitchen. The restaurant had no issue with seating parties of four at tables for six, but when we asked for as similar accommodation for an open table for eight, we were told it was "reserved." We ended up siting outside, which was not ideal. The waitstaff must have been new because we were poorly served. When the sun went down and it was dark, we asked if they could turn on the outdoor lights and were told "they couldn't," but finally brought over a couple of candles for the table. On the plus side the food was good and plated beautifully. As first impressions are usually the best, we won't be returning as it seems all reservations aren't treated equally.

This is Mediterranean style fare with great steaks. It is a laidback pace and the food is seasoned but not Texas hot.Our waiter was great his assistants were constantly refillng our water and busing amd cleaning the table.Get the cutting board to share your entrees and enjoy the flaming bone marrow!

After eating at literally hundreds of Houston establishments, this is one of my absolute favorite places. The food is amazing and unique as a Mediterranean steakhouse. Their steaks are dry aged and served aflame to your table. The meat is tender and extremely flavorful. They service is 5/5 and the staff is very knowledgeable about their dishes and drinks. The ambiance is classy. You need to eat here!

Just overall, such an incredible spot. From the bread service, to the drinks, and the steaks - everything here is made with such intention and tastes incredible. This place is very pricey so just be aware of that ($150-300 a person on average) but it is an experience well worth the price.

This was an excellent experience. The service, presentation and attention to detail were superb. The drinks and the food were outstanding. A meal to remember is the summation of my dining adventure here. If I were closer, this would be put into a rotational basis.

Excellent atmosphere, intimate and high end without being pretentious. Cocktails were delicious with a good happy hour menu. That's where I would say the good news ends. Service was disappointing. When you're paying this much for food and service you expect them to be exceptional, not to be interrupted constantly, eg questioning whether you're always done with a plate you're actively eating from. The fattosh salad was bland, the octopus oversalted, the Jerusalem salad average, the tomahawk steak poorly seared with inconsistent temp throughout the steak, and disappointingly under seasoned. Very disappointed overall.

Just went there for dinner at Valentin and a cockroach fell on my girlfriend and the service had no response . Just picked it up and left.Terrible experience. I would have accepted at least an apologyAvoid this place.
Above average. Nice bar. Pricey. Lots of parking in a nice part of town. Sweetbreads are incredible.
Octopus appetizer is phenomenal. Lamb entree is excellent. Eat the bread you won't regret it.
