Very delicious food. We frequented the Issaquah and Redmond locations when we lived in Washington. It was nice to see one here. The beef pancakes and soup dumplings were as good as I remember. Service was outstanding as well.

The food here is mediocre at best. Soup dumplings were ok, had a good amount of soup in them but the dough was too thick. I had both the pork and pork and crab soup dumplings. The pork and crab soup dumplings had a very fake imitation crab flavor to them. The dan dan noodles lacked any sort of flavor, had a little spice to it, and were very oily. The pan fried dumplings were extremely disappointing, the filling was overly salty and the folded part of dough on top was not even fully cooked through. The salad was a hard pass, only a few pieces of romaine with a salad dressing that was way too sweet. The only dish that was ok was the pig ears. Rest of the food was really mediocre and disappointing.

I loved this place until they left me waiting 30 minutes to tell me they were out of the food I had ordered. If I hadn't asked they would have left me there for I don't know how much longer. And I was starving. They didn't apologize or do anything other than tell me they would give me a refund. Very bad service and attention. Disappointed.
The Pork Xiao Long Bao was great. The beef noodle soup was delicious, meat was a little fatty but part of how the broth gets a good flavor. The Dan Dan noodles were not as traditionally served (I'm told) but tasty. The pan-fried dumplings were not traditionally fried, they were on a layer of dough that was fried with the dumplings cooked into the dough- not as good as traditional pan-fried dumplings.
A good number of additional items on the menu for those more daring.
Service was highly attentive.
The ambience was open and nice.
I expect to be back to the Dough Zone.

Came here to give the soup dumplings a try. After many years of eating Din Tai Fung in other cities and states wanted to see if we could find something similar in Houston. The food did not disappoint. The soup dumplings were really good and reasonably priced. We also tried some of the pan fried dumplings and the bao. The pan fried dumplings were amazing. The bao buns were a little too doughy for my taste. Only thing this place is missing is a chocolate filled bao for dessert. Thanks for the great food and great service.
Parking: Enter parking garage behind building. Connects directly to restaurant from 2nd floor.

Grain of salt; I did order for delivery. Grain of salt to THAT grain of salt; I live right down the street. That being said, I can only rate on the food itself and packaging.
Packaging was very nice and orderly. I appreciated the inclusion of utensils and sauce packets.
Much of the food itself had some decent flavors despite being a little lukewarm when we received it (again, delivery). The noodles dishes and the soup dumplings really shined here. Both definitely benefitted from the addition of some chili oil on top. I do wish the pork buns had a little more seasoning and a little more filling to them.
Ultimately, it scratched the comforting itch of wanting dumplings and noodles. They also sell their dumplings frozen if you need to restock at home. Try for yourself!

Great selection of dumplings and xiao long baos. Spicy wontons could have been a bit spicier. Q Baos were juicy and delicious. Beef noodle soup and zhajiang mein were yummy. Banana naan was an amazing surprise. It was so tasty and delightful that we ate 2 orders! Service was impeccable. Truly a great casual dining experience at a great value!
