i haven't been to doughzone in a while so when i came in i was kind of disappointed by the change in ordering through a qr code on the table. i thought the old method of checking items off a menu was charming and unique to doughzone, and generally enjoyed coming in the past. i came in just after they opened and was the only person in the restaurant for a while, so i assumed that was just the standard new method to order. however, as other diners came in, they were properly greeted by their server, given physical menus, and ordered through the server or the old paper menu method. why was i the only person in the restaurant to not be given the same level of quality in service as other customers? i ordered the pork and shrimp potstickers, beef steamed dumplings, and dan dan noodles, and they were fine.
Very delicious!!
You have to order through a QR code. They give you 1 menu no matter how many people are with you. So everyone at the table has to scan the QR code to see what they want, but only one person can place the order.
They brought us our food, which was freshly made. But we didn't have a server, everyone took turns bringing us different things. Then they wanted a tip! Why? You didn't take our orders, you didn't check on us, you ignored us the entire time. All the wait staff did was deliver items to our table which we could've gotten up and gotten ourselves.

Met a friend here for dinner one night. I liked that dishes weee smaller so I was able to try a few items. Everything was pretty good and the prices were very good.
I’d been excited to try this place & wanted to try a bit of everything. Overall, the food was ok. It didn’t taste as fresh & flavorful as I thought it would. Chloe was our waitress but wasn’t too inviting or hospitable. I give this place a 6/10.

Pork xiao long bao 9/10
Pork boiled wontons in chicken soil 7.5/10 (add chili oil)
Personally don't like the bao steamed
Spiced beef sandwich = no flavor
Fried dumplings are also good
Well priced, great for small groups and splitting and will still get full. Soup broths could be stronger but dumplings are great, especially the soup broths.

So good. I swear they never miss. Food comes out fast and is always the perfect temp. They have nice background music. Super affordable. I crave this place weekly. I recommend their steamed dumplings and sweet and sour cucumbers. Will definitely be back! 10/10 comfort food. Warms my freaking soul.

Best Must have : Ube Milk Tea, Fried Pork Buns , fried potstickers (have come under cooked before)
Maybe: chive pancakes , cucumber , soup dumplings (not as much flavor as other places)
JUST NO : banana dessert pancake (old squishy banana), ALL THE NOODLES (bland or not giving )

Overall it was okay. The soup dumplings are not too flavorful. The stew noodles were the same. They both were bland. The highlight was the banana crepe. Their Thai tea is good, on the sweet side though. I also tried their passion fruit green tea which was more to my liking and not overly sweet.

The pork and chicken soup dumplings were great, the pork wontons with chili sauce were delicious, unfortunately the shrimp and pork dumplings were not my favorite and made me sick. It didn’t taste better the second time. We gave it a shot again last night and I not only got sick last night but again all morning.
