The food, the space, our sever Adam, were all wonderful! One of the hidden gems In Houston!
What a wonderful experience. Not only was the customer service fantastic, but the food was outstanding.
The service was slow. This was our 3rd time to have dinner and we were looking forward to going again. We have decided not to go back. It was extremely loud and slow to get our drinks and food.
The food at Drake's and the service was excellent. It was just VERY loud. Also, my group read the dress code before we went dressed appropriately but clearly it is not enforced. The valet attendants were very rude. But, again, the service and food was excellent.
This restaurant has declined noticeably since its opening. The service was terrible. The bleu and gold martini was so oversalted that it was practically undrinkable. While the lobster ravioli was enjoyable and the filet mignon was decent, the “creamed corn” was served elote-style, which at Drake's translates to canned corn mixed with butter (flavored oil?) and cheese. This was not a good experience and we will not be back. With so many great restaurants in Houston, why waste your time and money here?
Drake's is super intimate and personable. The ozzy pizza and vodka pasta are to die for! I can't wait to go again and try other items
Honestly outstanding the quality of the food and service was amazing. Staff was super helpful and quick . The aesthetic is amazing as well.
Scarleth was amazing! Food was amazing and wine too! Seared snapper was excellent too!

I came here for my birthday dinner and our waiter, Vince, made the night absolutely perfect! He was professional, friendly, and charismatic — you could tell he really knew his stuff and genuinely wanted me to have the best experience possible. His food recommendations were spot-on: the spicy caesar salad, spicy rigatoni, Vin Scully fries, and the dry-aged Delmonico steak were all cooked to perfection and incredibly delicious.
Vince went above and beyond, even surprising me with a fun birthday sparkler in my slice of cake! The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful, and Vince truly made us feel special from start to finish. He delivered 10/10 service, and when I come back, I’ll definitely be asking for him again. Highly recommend! 🎉

Food and service were both amazing. Luis made our dining experience really enjoyable. And he was able to help us figure out what to order as it was our first time. And the food and drinks came out quickly. We would absolutely dine at Drakes again.

We came as a group of seven for a birthday dinner. The hostess immediately told us it would be a “90-minute experience.” Fine, we thought — just a time limit on the table. But the service was so slow that most of that “experience” was spent waiting.
They charge $9 for a bottle of still water — and somehow managed to make even water feel scarce. In a restaurant trying to feel luxurious, why are we begging for refills?
The appetizers were solid. The crab scampi, fries, and prawns all hit the mark. Then came the Hawaiian Ribeye — which, for starters, had nothing Hawaiian about it. It was overcooked, under-seasoned, and oddly inconsistent in size. Same order, yet two plates came out smaller by about a quarter. We had to ask for salt just to coax out some flavor.
For the price, this place misses the mark. Mediocre food, slow service, and a pretentious attitude don’t add up to luxury. Houston has too many incredible restaurants to waste your time here.

Had a girls night with great friends, their company was so good I was willing to overlook the dried up salmon I was served and not complaint about the rubbing alcohol taste of the worlds coldest martini until right before we were almost done we had to use the ladies room leaving our half full wine glasses covered with a napkin only to find out when we returned to our table they had cleared it out and sat another party. No warnings just a “hey I’m sorry they did this” from our waiter leaving us standing in the middle of the dining room to sign for our bills. NEVER HAVE I EVER been treated like this at any restaurant. Food was not cheap either. Parking is a joke unless you pay 20 to valet upfront. Needless to say go somewhere else this isn’t worth your money or time.

The best thing here was the appetizers. (Fried and crab fingers) Our party ordered 3 Hawaiian ribeyes and all were over cooked with little to no flavor. The lobster ravioli was room temperature but did have a good flavor. I wish our waitress would have let us know ot only came with 6 ravioli when she heard us say we were sharing. The ambiance is nice but this place was not worth the money spent. I expected more for paying 100+ per person.
