While the food was tasty it is hard to visit the establishment because day after day there is a very poorly parked white Lexus SUV in front of the store; can someone please tell the owner to move? Furthermore, the customer service is a hit or miss, with either great or lack luster service.

honestly, their food's pretty good and their sweets/desserts are superb. i will focus on the sweets/desserts though, as i don't really have much to say for the food. the reason i differentiated the two is because their desserts are amazing. their chè is amazing, and they give you what you want right in front of you. the coconut milk they use for their products is awesome. you can really taste it in their stuff and really adds to the flavors of the desserts. two of my favorite desserts has this: one is like this red bean (maybe) in a sticky coconut milk liquid and the other is called bánh bò / cow cake / steamed rice cake. a last item i absolutely love that they have is chuối chiên / fried banana. it's sweet, crunchy, and has a fruity flavor. in conclusion, as i realize this is so long lol, this place is one of my favorite places to visit for vietnamese desserts/sweets and other foods.bean in sticky coconut milk thingy (8.6/10)bánh bò (8.3/10)chuối chiên (8.5/10)(i had to google all of these names...)

Interesting to see so many sweets at Duc Phuong Thach Che. I wish there was seating. It would be a nice place to hang out.
Located in the Universal Plaza. Watch out for Asian drivers and pedestrians. It's honestly the worst in this plaza. This plaza has lots of parking but sometimes it can get really crowded. People reversing without looking and parking however and wherever they want.Anyways, I always come here for their banh mi. They have all kinds of banh mi but my favorite is the special. They toast the bread before they make it so it's hot. It's relatively cheap ranging from $3-4.Seriously, this place has all kinds of dessert from che to sticky rice. The green and red sticky rice are my absolute favorite. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but the sticky rice has a hint of sweetness so I can usually eat the entire portion. They also have other dried snacks and assorted drinks in the fridge. One down side is that it's cash only! Bummer because I never have cash but when I do, I stop by here. Majority of the workers are Vietnamese who may not speak English too well but shouldn't be a problem if you don't speak Viet. You can just point out what you want. Everyone is friendly.

Always buy sticky rice that is still raw, not evenly cooked, and not sticky like the original sticky rice! Too bad
