I found Duck N Bao through the “Eat like a local” TV show and decided to check it out and I’m so glad I did! This place is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in Houston. It’s super clean, modern, and has a warm inviting vibe. We tried some of their most popular dishes, the half Peking duck, original pork soup dumplings, and wontons with crab meat and every bite was amazing. The flavors were spot on, the food came out fresh and hot, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. If you’re looking for delicious, close-to authentic Chinese food in Houston, this is one of the spots. I’ll definitely be coming back soon with the rest of my crew.
Food was so amazing! We drove past while we were going through Rice Village and their photos out front caught our attention we came in the atmosphere was beautiful and the service was amazing. Definitely a hidden gem! 10/10 very reasonably priced

This was our first trip to Duck n Bao. We had been looking for a restaurant that served authentic Peking Duck and Duck n Bao was recently featured on Chris Shepherd’s program, “Eat Like a Local”, our primary source for discovering hidden gem restaurants in the greater Houston Area. We were not disappointed. We started with some excellent dim sum before moving on to the Peking Duck with a side order of Bao. For the two of us, a half duck was more than enough. Kudos to Jocastha, our delightful server, who took such good care of us and to Chef and the back of the house for such a delicious meal. Highly recommended.

First off , DEIMY is an awesome server ! She was very thoughtful and attentive to our table. If you come, ask for her.
Same here to try the duck and it was outstanding! We had a table at 5 people and order the full duck it was delicious.
Highly suggest checking out this place if you are wanting delicious duck. We also try the soup dumplings, onion pancake, and fried rice.
Definitely coming back here again!

Came here without much expectation. Turns out the food here is pretty decent! Portions were generous and majority of the dishes were great. Tbh, there weren’t any epic dishes that I would rave about, but overall, I feel like they have a good variety of dishes. Plenty of parking spaces near rice village.
