We were a party of 12 and all of us immediately had stomach issues 15 minutes after leaving. I had 2 plates of food and everything was cold and inedible and when our server heard me she actually offered to microwave the food. Like if I’m paying money to go eat I expect a fresh meal, if I want microwave food I’ll eat at home. Never coming back again, really has gone down hill over the past few years

It's okay food a little above average for a buffet.

I recently visited the E-Star location on 290 Hwy in the Jersey Village area, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations, especially when compared to the E-Star on 1960.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a not-so-pleasant smell that immediately set a negative tone for my visit. First impressions matter, and this one left much to be desired. Additionally, the restroom facilities were not clean or fresh-smelling, which is always a concern when dining out.

The buffet was another disappointment. The food was cold, which is not acceptable for a restaurant that prides itself on offering a variety of dishes. It detracts from the overall dining experience when you have to settle for less-than-appetizing food.

I’ve enjoyed meals at E-Star in the past, so I had higher hopes for this visit. If the staff have time to lean, they certainly have time to clean. It was disheartening to see only about six customers in the restaurant at 7 PM, especially when there were plenty of staff members present.

I sincerely hope management takes note of these issues, as my previous experiences with E-Star have been more enjoyable. I would recommend some attention to cleanliness and food quality so that future visits can be an improvement over this one

Food had maggots in it, luckily my husband noticed when he was serving his food. The health department needs to close them!
