I want to love this bar...but, I've had property stolen here TWICE in the past six months. On my last visit, four customers on the balcony were asking people about stolen mobile phones.
I would suggest bringing a burner phone and a wallet that can be secured inside your clothing. It's just not safe to spend time here without additional precautions, and the staff is not interested in helping if something goes wrong.
Beyond the major risk of theft, it's a fun place. The music is usually pretty decent (better upstairs). It's not the Eagle you'll find in other big cities (IYKYNK), but it's one of the better weekend options. Just don't bring anything of value with you.

had my phone and wallet stolen here last friday. security was no help, suggested i lost them despite another man also having his phone and wallet stolen. my friend had her phone and wallet stolen here this friday. beware of a repeat pickpocket that the management isn’t taking seriously! or at least keep your stuff close to your body if you come here

Been here a few times it’s always disappointing because it’s not a leather bar but to on a Sunday mid day I was denied entry because I have a backpack. I’m visiting and fly out in a few hours. Will be my last time

A guy with a cactus on his forehead, a fat guy, takes advantage of people who are drunk to include extra drinks or pretends he doesn't understand to sell extra drinks... he speaks 100% Spanish, he's just a guy who takes advantage. .too bad for this place that doesn't know how to have loyal, honest people...

If you want ice thrown at, you don’t come to this bar. This man threw ice at me and my friends because we were barely in front of the bar for even five minutes and there was a drag queen show so we had to make room and he kept throwing ice at us when there was no line. My friends and I are going to report him. It was upstairs, and he was a white bald man.
