Don't have hours, walked around in hot sun just for them to be closed
The coffee is very yummy. Convenient location, but the food has a little bit of an odd taste. Friends have speculated that this location doesn't wash their vegetables. Nothing wrong with the atmosphere, you can watch alot of campus from that hall.
Vegetarian options: The Very Veggie Sandwich is excellent

I ordered a bagel and pastry and paid for it. Then they decided to tell me that they were out of pastries after I paid for it and didn’t offer a refund or anything, not even an apology.
The past few times I've been there the service had been downright intolerable. The staff is disrespectful, both to the customers and to eachother. The work environment they've fostered here has led to them being miserable and projecting their frustration onto their customers. There was a man behind the cashier gaslighting the customer infront of me that they didn't have something that they did infact have and her order was already being taken care of by other staff. She legit saw them grab the bagel she asked for, and then the cashier proceeded to do the same to me. It's not the first time communication has been an issue since they do not seem to want to listen to the customer at all. They truly make you feel small and like you don't want to be there.I'm a manager that consistently emphasizes good customer service and virtually everyone here including the managers need to be retrained or they just really shouldn't be In a high stress job. I understand wholeheartedly that customers are hard to deal with, especially during rush hour, but at the end of the day customer service is part of the job. There is zero reason to take out your frustration on a person who was being nice to you.

Food is good if they actually have an option for you. Service is absolutely horrible though, and were very disrespectful to me and my friend who had been waiting in line. We tried to order drinks but the server disrespectfully shut us both down because we only wanted smoothies. Not everyone wants to eat a bagel. Their smoothie is incredible, but definitely not worth the horrible service we were given. Very small and not many places to sit if they're even a little busy. Not worth it, and I will not be returning.

If I have a nickel for every time they messed up my order, I’ll have 2 nickel, which isn’t a lot, but weird that it happened twice. Food is okay, bagel is better than brunch menu though the latter come in big portion. It’s eatable, not exactly bad but I wouldn’t say good. Of my 2 times ordering, only one among those at the counter seem like they know what they doing, the rest are not.

Came in 1/17 at 12:20. Guy at the counter very rudely berated me before I could even get to the counter. Then as I got to the counter He acted not only as if I couldn’t speak English, but implied I was so dumb that I didn’t know I was at a place to get food. All of this because I stuttered literally once at the start of my order. Not sure if was a race thing or if he just treats everyone that way but it was 100% unacceptable. As I said the guy was berating me before I got to the counter to order, I get to the counter & say “I’ll take a” & the worker interprets me & goes off.“What you don’t speak English? This is a food shop(motioning hands like he’s eating) ARE YOU GONNA ORDER OR NOT?”Then as I’m looking at him in disbelief he lays in again“this is a FOOD SHOP! do you understand? Are you gonna order food? Do you even speak English? Are you just gonna stand their and look stupid? Finally i turned around and walked out.Besides the point but a note for the businessit’s literally my first day at UH, your employee lost you what would have been a 4 year long customer on the first day, before he could even place 1 order.
One of their servers, a man, dropped his tongs in the floor, picked it back up and continued to serve people without any regard for cross contamination. They do not train their employees to make any of the drinks besides a simple coffee, so if you want anything else you’ll get a disgusting mess of milk and water.Terrible customer service as many of the other reviews said. They never engage the customer. Why is this place still in business nobody should eat this trash, just make a bagel at home. The man who served me should have his food handlers permit revoked. 0 stars if I could.

Love the avocado toasted bagel. Very good lattes and other beverages. A little pricey, but so is everything..?
The heart and soul of the university of Houston. The staff are super sweet and kind abs care about their customers. One of the employees made my meal twice on accident and let me consume both LOL. all the workers act like a sweet fairy god mother or a super loving grandma. It’s chill.PS Chai tea with caramel thank me later
Very rude employees, only a select few are kind. If you decide to sit and eat your food in the establishment you can hear the employees cursing and talking horribly about each other. They yell across the restaurant and make it very uncomfortable to be there.
Staff is always prompt and polite
Extremely affordable and fulfilling. Never have had an issue with my order.
