Service was bad and slow even though no one was in the restaurant. The sign on the restaurant is wrong, which is confusing trying to find the place. The kids Pancake was not cooked, and she said the bacon tasted off, and it did it tasted expired. The meat was tough on one of the plates, and the beans had no flavor. The funniest thing was that the lady was about to give sour cream for my sister in-law coffee, thinking it was milk.
The only thing that was good was the chilaquiles, but no, we won't be coming back.

What a delicious breakfast this has been. I was craving breakfast at 800pm. Rosi was amazing, I received a delicious breakfast in the evening, eggs, avacado, beans, carnitas, hand made tortillas and more in my plate. home made flavors awesome coffee organic from honduras. Definetly top choice.

I highly recommend you coming here. I felt like I was in my grandma's kitchen. Welcomed in with love and a great atmosphere. The food was really good, like super good. If you want a great cooked meal with some old fashioned Mexican love then you gotta come here. Highly recommended.

This place was a great experience. Immediately upon entering we were greeted by Rosie, such a sweetheart. Everything was fresh to order and the food was amazing. My mom enjoyed her caldo de res and my husband enjoyed his quesabirrias and for me that's enough to determine the authenticity of this restaurant. I will be coming back to El Cazo and highly recommend you check it out!

Breakfast is not a good option. The restaurant messed up my eggs by not cooking them properly.

I am impressed to see so many good comments about the food. I ordered some green chilaquiles and they were old. The tortilla is hard. I couldn't eat them because of the stiff texture, they couldn't be chewed. The waitress is very kind and friendly but the food takes a long time. Honestly I wouldn't go back. Those chilaquiles were very bad.

The breakfast tacos were so good and authentic, it tasted like it was made from home, and with lots of love. The restaurant itself was very clean and the staff were super friendly and patient with me. Also, THE TORTILLAS ARE FRESHLY MADE, corn and flour! I most definitely will be back!

I hope that as Michelin begins to include Houston's and other southern cities' restaurants in their program, restaurants like this don't get overlooked. There is no glitz and glam, but the food and service are incredible. If they can give a Michelin star to food trucks (and they have), they can at least consider giving one to places such as this.

The food is delicious, it tastes like mom's, but it's a shame that the service is extremely slow, and the food even more so.
For the place to grow they need more staff.
(And cooks) They are not prepared for more than 2 tables.
My food took 1 hour and 5 minutes to come out.
So if you arrive and see more than 2 tables, you better not stay.
