We drove in from northwest Houston to try this place, and it was definitely worth the trip! The food was delicious and full of flavor, and the service was friendly and attentive. The location is a bit small and can feel tight during busy times, but the quality of the food and overall experience more than make up for it. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Paid almost $50 for two coffees and two menudos. Saw place advertised on TikTok. No flavor, no salt plus coffee was cold. She insisted on warming it up. I demanded new cups of coffee and they were not too pleased. Definitely, I DONT RECOMMEND this place!

The Guosado de res is the best I have ever had at a restaraunt. What makes it so good is they use the right amount of comino for me and mom. It taste like homemade. The waitresses are all friendly but be aware the inside is small and it is hard to hear at times, you may have to wait at peak times. But it is worth it. My sister had the Chuletazo and eggs which is a thick cut pork chop with eggs and it looked great. We saw a couple at the table next to us tearing up a menudo and she had the sopes and the way she was eating them I know ahe liked them. I want to go back for the costillas en salsa verde and I will be back. This is the kind of place that you would like to find empty and all to yourself on a rainy day where you could have a meal that taste home cooked and have a coffee or a bottled Mexican soda. Next time I will get pictures of the food.

I thought this was going to be my favorite menudo place but they did what all taquerias and Mexican restaurants do they get comfortable and they stop selling good and clean menudo it was nothing but sebo fat and tasted like old recook

Not amazed as per their advertisement on facebook expected a lot more , I ordered the ranchero plate eggs sunny side up they were medium no juice, one small strip of bacon, I ordered the menudo with more homney than meat, got mostly meat, the waitress did get me more homney, the barbacoa tacos were very greasy, the waitresses were excellent and attentive, my first time there first impressions mean a lot to me, anyway, they had a good crowd for a Friday.

It's a small place but the food is decent. We had the gorditas plate; chicharrones in salsa plate; scrambled eggs with bacon and a barbacoa taco. The taco was really good with a generous portion of barbacoa. The other plates were ok.

My first time visiting El Oregano Restaurant, I called in an order for pick-up for me and my crew. When I arrived my order of 5 tacos was ready and the place was busy at lunch time. The cashier was very polite and friendly as were other hostess and the crew loved the tacos we ate or lunch (Potato/Egg, Chorizo/Egg, Chicharron, Fajita all on flour tortillas) hot sauce was also very good and fresh. Highly recommend El Oregano Restaurant for Breakfast or Lunch. I will visit again !
