Went during Hurricane Beryl and they were open. Honestly couldn't tell if they had electricity or not because the front doors were wide open. But it may have been because it was so smoky inside that it was opened to air out. But anyways, we love Pollo Loco, sometimes it's a hit & miss. Just felt that it's been more so on the miss side. We ordered the 12 piece family meal with mashed potatoes and gravy and mac & corn with a side salad. We got everything, but the side salad was not a side salad. Turned out to be a meal salad instead. We were fine with it, but my husband started to open it and lettuce was old, chicken was tough & old. Avocado was black. The salad itaelf was warm. We live no further than 15 minutes away and it was bagged separately from the chicken. No excuse for it to be warm unless there was no electricity for the fridges.

Bad service and the person in charge of the place is very rude, just like the other workers. Besides, they take a long time to attend.

Previous Review: When I first noticed there was an El Pollo Loco nearest to me 3 years ago, I got really excited. But it was not open yet. Then I completely forgot about this location because there were more restaurants opened up.
One day I saw my coworker brought El Pollo Loco to the office. I was drooling over the chicken dish. Mmm... it smells so rico. Just the other day, I drove by after the movie at Marq*E Theater. I smelled something really familiar to my senses. Ah, I need to get some El Pollo Loco to share with my coworkers.
I love going there, the food is good, the hot sauce is really good, I recommend trying the burritos

I was disappointed because, everything that I wanted they did not have. I wanted a quesadilla they did not have the cheese I wanted refried beans they did not have the refried beans they only had beans in liquid

Today I visited the restaurant at lunch time and it was truly an excellent experience, the cashier was very friendly and helped me with the menu and the food was very good and fresh.!!!
