Went in for lunch on a Friday and the wait was honestly really quick, for a busy day. Got the Al Pastor Tacos, Mexican Rice and some Horchata and everything was fresh, and really hot. Highly recommend and will be back! Honestly some of the best Horchata I’ve had around Houston.

The drive-through people cannot get a order right. And then when you show them The receipt they still think they’re right. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a drive-through restaurant.

I love going to El Rey Taqueria after my hikes at Memorial Park. Nothing like a couple Vegan Cuban tacos after an arduous walk in the Texas heat! Light and fresh, but packs generous protein with the black beans! Yum!
The roasted chicken and shrimp salad was delicious, with a great combination of flavors and generous portions. However, the dining area is rather small and can become quite crowded, making it more suitable for takeout orders. The service was satisfactory. However, it would be beneficial if the staff had a more comprehensive understanding of the menu items.
I ordered two tacos one cuban taco, one rotisserie chicken taco flour tortilla and they were both cold and old tortillas. The food really has no real flavor to it .This was my first and last time eating at this establishment. I thought I would try it because I live just walking distance from this place but I know now the food quality is poor and the food temperature was cold and most items are very overpriced, go somewhere else you will find better food elsewhere. Bye. The food really Sucks. Prices way out of range and I know your trying to cover your overhead but just close down and go out of business do everyone a favor.
