El Taquito Kitchen (Food Truck)

This food is so overrated. First time came here and ordered two taco and one gardita and honestly i was so so disappointed can’t express. Taco is so small and there’s nothing inside except few large pieces of onion then the gardita is soaked with oil very very light meat inside. The photos are just scam. I am never ever going to try their food again.

I don’t get it. This truck is rated high and some of the best tacos and burritos in California come from the food trucks. But this place was a greasy disappointment.
I ordered a “Tony’s Burrito” because is was supposed to be big. It was no thicker the two of my fingers and was mostly tortilla. The flavor was non-existent, unless the lard-soaked tortilla is a flavor.
And what is with the limp french fries…?

The owner reaponded 3 weeks later with a four word apology.

I am sorry... I can only assume that the good reviews are from family, friends, and employees. There is no self-respecting burrito-lover that would rate this place well. My two stars were actually generous for what I received. And if a restaurant is going to pair Mexican food with french fries, they better be damn good fries.

Who knew the burritos from an Oakland food truck would slay the burritos from a Texas truck.

I understand magbe a bad night, but if you arr not going to offer a heart-felt apology, then just don’t say anything.

I will start by saying that this was one of the best trucks I’ve been too. Never had a complaint until today. Unfortunately, I seen a bug in my food, I had already eaten both tacos and noticed a bug. The entire time I thought it was meat until it started moving. I called to report, she started off speaking English then all of a sudden “I only speak Spanish” I will never ever eat from them again smh.

The best Mexican food truck I’ve had so far! The food is fresh and the service is quick except for one of the ladies that takes the order is quite rude and shows no interest in customer service. Other than that, this place is a hit!

Had to drop a review for this place. Like the person below said, don't let the cheap prices fool you. You can tell the food here is made with care and pride. I order them weekly on door dash and they never disappoint. Every item on the menu is good.
