I had my 84th birthday party there it was phenomenal experience the best southern Louisiana cooking I’ve had in years everything from scratch the music. The ambience. The service was wonderful friends in my party said it was the best birthday party they’ve ever been to what a compliment I love Emmitt’s Place
I did not sample the food so I left that off my “review”.It’s the music and environment. Nice cozy place for an intimate listening and visual experience. I was able to talk with a few of the musicians during the break.I was thirsty so was able to get a nice mineral water (didn’t want my usual beer due to driving in from the suburbs). No pressure.Nice people - deserving of community support!

6 of us went last night (Monday June 12, 2023)The open mic / jam was the best I’ve ever seen. Everyone was super talented, friendly and welcoming. The staff were wonderful too!Highly recommendA+++++++++10/10
