Another perfect evening at this Houston gem. Four neighbors decided to have a dinner out and the second someone mentioned Etoile, it was unanimous. Truly, there was not a flaw in the evening - from the service, the dining room, the food and wine. Such an enjoyable treat.

We went to dinner last Sunday, with another couple. I had not been since before te pandemic, and had very fond memories of their cuisine. I was surprised by the lack of imagination and brevity of their dinner menu. Just the some of the most classic and known of the French dishes. Nothing new, nothing even a bit creative. We shared mushroom ravioli as an appetizer and since we were four of us, we asked for a “large portion". It was smallish. Then, three of us had fish entrees...

The business lunch is a fantastic value - great dishes and great tasting! Must try!! Noise level rating higher at this lunch because there was a big group celebrating birthdays. Otherwise, noise level is very manageable.
