Jasmin was such a sweet waitress. Attentive and accommodating. The food was clean, fresh, creole seafood which was soo good. I usually don't order from the kids menu for my kids, but this is the first place that actually had fresh, house-made, adult-quality kids food. Creole is never a bad option, but sometimes it could be heavy and prioritize quality over quality- not here! So fresh, clean and healthy creole. I can't explain it better than that, but definitely come down and try it yourself!

Parking: Valet in front of the restaurant or a paid lot on the building.

I love this restaurant. Has a unique setting and one of the most unique patios in Houston. Fine dining in a casual environment. High end seafood at its best.

The gumbo was incredibly delicious, and I highly recommend the lemon icebox pie too.

Well, bummer…

The scene is great and the food is beautiful, but it overall is fairly bland. The pork chop was pretty solid. The cornbread is decent. The brussel sprouts, gumbo, and bisque were lacking basic seasoning. Also, it’s a fairly fancy restaurant that charges a ‘convenience fee’. ☹️

Looks were a 10. The substance was a 6.

Not sure I’ll be back. Walking in, I was hoping to rave about the experience. But, not quite.

Had a great time. The food is so delicious here, although I found it strange that the shrimp po-boy doesn’t come with pickles on it.

Overpriced and slow service, bad drinks…not worth it. Many other restaurants that are worth $225 dinner for two. Avoid.

Drum fish dinner was very very greasy/oily but flavorful. Cornbread is always delicious just wasn't hot. Short female bartender with curly hair wasn't very friendly or attentive. May or may not go back.

Absolutely gorgeous place I rode past a million times without knowing, lol. Went for HH with a girlfriend and had a great time! Clarence and Mary are just fantastic...can't say enough about their attentiveness and customer pleasing service! The food was delish and the drinks were done perfectly! I will not only return but I highly recommend!

I was an employee here, the manager Evan Boiteaux hired me as a busser, I didn't do that bad of a job, I was constantly moving, only taking not too long of a short stopping time, but Evan decided to compare my performance with another busser. He stopped my tips saying it's not fair for me to receive tips. There was another busser who Evan hired a month later, and he has mental deficiencies and he didn't perform well at all, but Evan decided to keep him until the busser did something sneaky to get away from doing work. Evan, the manager is talking about fairness, but this is not fairness. I never have tried to stop myself from doing work, like I have, but I would get myself back to working as soon as I stop working for a few seconds. Evan decided to put me in another steward position, and I was there for a few months until Evan put me off schedule and told me I don't need to come anymore.
Also, one day I saw a girl named Olga who while making cornbread decided to lick the gloves, and she was using the same gloves to make the cornbread.

The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is nice. Service was OK because they seem understaffed - it was not easy to someone's attention to refill drinks, etc. This is all OK but what I cannot believe is there is a 3% service charge on credit card and I was not informed - it was just added on to the bill. I can understand if it's a mom-and-pop shop and they need to charge the 3% fee on a $15 item to stay in business. However, this is a fancy restaurant and we spent $200 for 2 people for dinner, I don't see how you need to charge me a 3% processing fee to sustain your business. When I go out to a nice restaurant, I want to have a good time and not made to feel like I am nickeled and dimed. I don't mind spending money, but it's nice to feel like I got a little credit card perk and got some points or miles. If there is a processing fee, it should be clearly stated on the menu or the waiter needed to tell me, then I have a choice to pay in cash. We ended up having to wait for him to re-do the bill to pay in cash, but this took a while. It made me feel like I was flying a budget airline and this was not the experience I wanted from dining out.

Always great service and great food. The parking isn’t the best and the last two times I went they added a 3% service fee if not using cash. That fee does not go to the server. For this reason I gave 3 stars and will likely not return.
