We went to celebrate Valentine’s Day, with an early reservation for 4:00. Even though the restaurant was mostly empty, we were sat at what looked like the most awkward, uncomfortable table in the restaurant: right next to the server’s POS station and the patio door, and near the kitchen. It was just a weird place to sit when so many of the tables in more comfortable places were open.

Also there seemed to be a lot of urgency from our server to get it and out. Understandably, they were expecting a big rush for the holiday, so it wasn’t a big deal to put our appetizers and mains in on time. But, letting us know it was so there wasn’t a gap between our appetizers and entrees being on the table and that they were expecting 400 seats made it clear they were in a rush, amongst other little things, which made it harder to focus on the afternoon for me.

The entrees were both really good, both appetizers were just alright (maybe a little less so), and the table location and rush made us choose to have dessert elsewhere.

Counting calories? Don’t bother coming here unless you’re ready to dine as you wish.
The gumbo was smoky with that coat-your-mouth richness, and the burrata was next-level with the biscuits.

I ordered the beet salad and a cup of gumbo. The beet salad was delicious. It was light and the flavors were well balanced. The gumbo was ok.

With exception of being seated in the overflow room (which also was full), all was outstanding. Will definitely go again. And yes, we'd booked a reservation well in advance but did not confirm until day of.

This was my second visit to Eunice. We were with a group of 20+ and we received good service. I really enjoyed the vibes and the drinks. I will return and tell more friends about it.

Cornbread + quail raw sent back”-“ main dishes grits-shrimp? Tuna - tasted not fresh. New year eve midday quiet and $200 later for 2. Go with the plate of the day for lunch +✅

Always a wonderful meal here in Houston. Get the duck poppers and cornbread to start. The gulf fish, scallops over risotto and the boar bolognese were all incredible. Save room for some bread pudding!

Great service and Cajun seafood with a twist. Parking is hard but they validate.

It's a lovely looking restaurant and the ambiance was great, but unfortunately the food really fell flat. Our server was fantastic and the environment was cute & comfortable. Everything on the menu sounded great, and there were some good flavors in our dishes, but the execution was poor. The duck was so overcooked that it could be mistaken for a well-done steak, which is a shame, because that sesame glaze was absolutely delightful. The red snapper was also quite tasty but a large portion of it felt like an overcooked chicken breast and the plate was drowned in an unpleasant amount of oil, seemingly just for plating purposes. The Dandan shrimp were very soggy; maybe this is how they're supposed to be, but they're just not for me. The butter for the cornbread and the non-alcoholic Topo Chico drinks were the highlights of the meal, which is quite a shame given how excited we were about the menu. It was a nice evening out, but I don't think we'll be going back.

Great service as always. Me and my wife love having comfort food going into the new year and this is definitely a good choice.

Tim was absolutely great! He made sure to check on us throughout our dinner, kept our glasses full, and provided excellent service.

Eunice never disappoints. It’s one of my go-to spots, because of the consistent quality. Seriously, everything is delicious, and the service is top notch. Even though the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, the food also speaks for itself, and I appreciate that. My forever favorites are the cornbread, gumbo, and oysters… however, everythingggg is really good.

My wife and I dined in for our anniversary and I can confidently say we had a phenomenal evening. All of the food was amazing but the star of the show was definitely our server Amanda.D. We were greeted with warmth and kindness. We told Amanda that we are big foodies and that she had free rein of bringing us a coursed meal of her choice as long as we were able to enjoy as much of a diverse selection as possible. She went above and beyond with her coursing and complimenting dishes off of each other. We left perfectly satisfied. Not hungry or too full. Plus she had a happy anniversary card written for us along with dessert. 1000/10 would recommend, and ask for Amanda :)

I came in a group of 10 people and ordered a filet medium well and came very cold... went back and came cutted like in 8 pieces, but was very cold again... they made a new one and came rare... I did retunred and decide no to take anything else since my already finished their lunch. They offered to fix it but it was too late. Not good for a restaurant with premium prices.
