🌮 Hidden Gem Alert! 🌮
This family-owned Mexican restaurant is an absolute treasure. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with genuine hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The food? Delicious doesn't even begin to cover it—every dish bursts with authentic flavor and care. Whether you're craving tacos, enchiladas, or something off the beaten path, you won’t be disappointed.
The service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. And the prices? Surprisingly affordable for the quality and portions you get. It’s rare to find a place that nails every aspect: food, service, and value.
If you're in the mood for a meal that feels like a warm hug from abuela’s kitchen, this is the spot. A true hidden gem that deserves to be discovered!

Good food, but untrustworthy. Left my phone for 5 minutes nobody sitting near me and it was gone.

The Kuykendal location has always been my favorite but obviously the chefs has changed along with the food. Not the same recipe
Great food and atmosphere
I love everything about Eva's! Excellent food and service!
Eva’s isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a culinary love letter wrapped in tortillas and sealed with a smile. I ordered the pollo special and asked for it with a little extra heat… and honey, they delivered. The spice was chef’s kiss perfection—bold but not brutal, just how I like it.
The waiters? Sweet, attentive, and genuinely kind. You’d think they were hosting you in their abuela’s kitchen. Prices? So reasonable I had to double-check the bill like… is this a prank?
Topped it all off with a creamy horchata that made me want to dance a little cumbia in my seat. Trust me—Eva’s is that feel-good spot you didn’t know you needed.
Seemed dirty was served with a broken glass was plastic but still broke. Wouldn't recommend eating here.
Above average TexMex at a fair price.

Definitely adjusted the seasoning and spices for non-hispanic crowds. The word gravy shows up all over the menu. The cheese gravy is definitely Rico nacho cheese sauce. And yes, plates come out hot, but they should still be cooking the food till dry on the expo counter.

Absolute best ever.! Has been a staple in our family since we were kids. Amazing staff, the best green salsa, queso with jalapeños is always a hit. And my personal favorites.. (I have several) burrito dinner, cheese enchiladas, crunchy tacos, chalupas..FAJITAS!!! Prices are soo affordable. Very much a place for family, the atmosphere is so homie! Bring a jacket because they usually have fans on! Give it a try if you’re close by!
