I went to this restaurant to have dinner, after finding out that it was no longer called Fajita Flats. Elisio is still there though! He has been at this location for 30 years, and is a big part of the vibe there. He is really friendly and such a great host! Hailey was my waitress and she was really friendly, too! I had the Birria plate, and it was amazing! The meat was so tender, the consomè was perfectly spiced and was so delicious, I didnt even think about pictures! I couldn't stop eating long enough! The chips and salsa were awesome too, and the lemonade was really refreshing. I'll definitely be going back for Taco Tuesday soon!!
It is not the same as fajitas flats. Not sure what the other reviews are alluding to but they fell off hard. Subpar ingredients now. Hope management does not cut corners on their food orders and go back to quality cheese, proper presentation, other concerns were: dry and clumpy beans ,crispy veg rice, and stale tortillas used to wrap my cheese enchiladas. The double fried chips are nice but you may want to soak it in the delicious salsa Verde or queso otherwise you may crack a tooth or make gums bleed. The salsas are far from spicy but they do pack flavor... The green one at least. The red one is bland, the veggie rice was decent but again little stale and flavor less. I have been going to fajita flats since 90s and even though it might have some staff I did hear that they have new ownership and now the new name. I miss the complimentary soup. I'll give them another shot and try their namesake dish.... Fajitas
