If you haven't ever eaten here I'm gonna need you to get in your car and go there like ASAP. They have hot food , soul food ,mexa Cali, Chinese, hood food delicious and hot . Right now you can use your food stamp card to buy the hot food only for a limited time. They have some delicious food that will make your taste buds fall in love . I can't wait to go back . They are so nice inside too . The cashier ladies are so sweet and friendly. They make you feel so welcomed and appreciated. I love this store and the food is so so good. I know you will love it too. Definitely take your family there too. They deserve all the business because I was treated excellent today and my tummy is happy & full. Thank you! I had Salisbury steak, baked chicken , combination rice, green beans , white beans and corn bread! It was amazing!!

Smothered chicken had very little of basic seasonings. Yams didn’t have ANY spices. Cabbage was the only thing I actually liked. Corn bread super dry. It’s a no for me. I might have to try something else.

Took mom in there for the first time she's elderly on oxygen, has a large hernia which causes her not to get around good. It started out with the ladies being patient with her then one worker tells her to hurry up because she has other people in line and then says please hurry up kinda upsetting my mom and me while my mom was trying to let het know she hadn't put her sides on her plate I had to tell her she hadn't finished making my moms plate. Once she opened it my mom said I was trying to tell you then she started apologizing. I wanted to say something to her for the way she treated her but I didn't want to cause a seen. It should never get that way when waiting on a customer. This was around 1:50pm on 06/4/24.

Best kept secret Soulfood within store. Feel like country store as it has all the old fashion candies & cookies i geew up with.Normally I'd give cafe a 5 star but for the 1st time, the mustard greens were GRITTY ??! YA they were NOT washed very well.i ended up throwing them out; should've gotten the cabbage.Everything else was point on.

Usually the food be on point! ... NOT TODAY! The greens were tough AND bitter (no flavor), the black-eyed peas were BLAND (no flavor), in fact, they were WATERY ? Only thing really worth mentioning, was the gravy for the beef tips, and I still had to "doctors THOSE up to make them DECENT for CONSUMPTION! Yeah, they let me down today?

This place is hit or miss. Some days the food will be perfect and other days it will be bland or like it’s missing something. The workers are always nice though and it is cheap and they give good sized portions

Had a bad experience with the lady who works at the cash register at the front. She started an argument with me and my husband, over nothing. Even followed us outside and continued the nonsense. She should of been fired right then, but the personal did nothing. The money we spend at this location and to be treated like that. They don't have to worry about seeing us again. The food us to be good. "WARNING, AVOID THIS PLACE."
