Outstanding food and outstanding service! The owner was very welcoming and even let us sample the prime rib. The sides were excellent. The mac and cheese was really good, but you have to try the jalapeño corn spoon bread. It was amazing. I will definitely be back!
It was a privilege to eat at this establishment. Chef David is by far one of the nicest person I’ve ever met.
It all started when I overheard Chef David tell a customer how he doesn’t use seed oils (it is literal poison to your body). He encouraged the couple to try anything they wanted and I also observed him engage other customers. I was so impressed.

WOW! So my 'best BBQ beef sandwich ever' has a new 1st place entry! Prior entries were Goode Co, Killen's, and Delta Blues - this one blew them all away! Extremely tender, not overly greasy mixed wet/dry, perfect smoke ring and flavor - well worth the drive (I was at Bush/IAH from Clear Lake and had 2 hours to kill). Sides were excellent as well, we had the brisket dirty rice (moist and flavorful) and Mac N Cheese (very cheesy and tasty) - not the classiest...
