Food is authentic and was good. My only issue is my left overs went sour the next day while properly refrigerated which leads me to think they sold me reheated food from the previous day or so

Cute little spot , new to Houston from Miami, so didn't expect much. Presentation was good but griot was bland, diri djon djon needed salt. I went when it wasn't busy so service was quick. Willing to give another shot.

I visited this restaurant yesterday based off a recommendation from a new Haitian friend I met just a few days prior. And BAAABYYY this Haitian restaurant did not disappoint!!! We had the taso kabrit, griot, black rice, and fried plantains!!! The taso, griot, and the plantains were finger lickin' good. The black rice was good but got nothing on that good home cooking my mom used to throw down! The service was good. Emmanuel was nice, took our order right away and the food didn't take too long (15-20mins). The price was somewhat reasonable. The food was a good portion. I wish I took photos but that food had no chance! We definitely will be back for more!!! So happy we took the 45min drive to check it out because it's so hard to find good Carribean/Haitian food in Houston. Definitely a must try if you have not already 😉.

I was disappointed with the level of professionalism at this establishment. On Sunday, I ordered a griot plate, which includes rice and plantains. When I got home, I realized the rice was missing. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the person at the register, who asked, "What would you like to do?" I explained that I still wanted my rice and would arrange for an Uber courier to pick it up.

When the driver arrived, I called the restaurant to notify them. However, the employee at the register later told me the driver was not there. I checked the app and saw that the driver had parked on the side of the restaurant. When I relayed this information, the employee responded that he couldn’t walk to the side because he had customers inside.

Am I not also a customer? Was it my fault that my order was incomplete? That response was incredibly distasteful, especially considering I had to pay for the Uber courier myself. After expressing my frustration, he finally decided to walk around the corner and hand off my food.

By the time I received my complete order, the plantains and griot were cold and hard, which significantly diminished the quality of the meal. While the food itself was decent, this experience left me regretting my initial tip. I hope the restaurant takes better care in handling orders and treating all customers with respect.

Although the food was fresh it lacked a ton of flavor. The turkey was cooked to perfection but very bland likewise with the legume. If they get the flavor right I think they'll be great. For the price of the food I was very disappointed in the lack of seasoning. The guy who took my order was welcoming and the ambiance was nice.

Avoid this place….. I ordered Tasso Kabrit and they served me an unknown meat. Crazy thing was, I witness another customer complaining about their meat not being the correct one. There’s no going back in forth about goat meat. The smell alone aside from the taste will sell you. I am absolutely disappointed. Houston only Haitian restaurant and they definitely disappointed me!
