Best ukranian borsch in Houston! 10/10
To start with the good,
The food was honestly really good. It was super flavorful, and worth the prices. I would have love to return and purchase a second bowl because of how good it was.
Now for the bad,
The service started off good, placed my order and was handed the buzzer. About 30 minutes went by and my cup was empty plus by that time my husband was able to finish his meal. (We ordered at the same time) So I decided to go ahead and refill my drink and then just wait for my food nearby the counter. The cook and server kept glaring rudely at me as I waited there patiently. Now an additional 20 minutes passed standing near the counter, already after the 30 I had already waited, of them glaring at me I was pretty tempted to just ask for my money back and go eat somewhere else in the building. When I picked up my food I asked if it came with fries (as that’s what the photo showed on the board) and very snappily said “no why would it”, and again still glaring. So I just dismissed the conversation and went to sit down. Ruined our night.
I would have absolutely love to leave a darling review for this place. But they really have some areas of improvement in their customer service. Plus if you haven’t even started on it, or know it’s gonna still be a minute, just tell me!!!!
Your food is awesome, make your customer service JUST as good!!!!!

OMG the food here is phenomenal! It was my first time here. The dumplings in broth is so bright and comforting. The red sauce is an experience on its own. The fried meat pastry was light, fluffy and full of flavor. Would recommend 1000%

I learned about this place from a post on Instagram that showcased the Kachapuri. It looked amazing and today, I finally wet here to try it. It was AMAZING. The taste of the bread and the cheese still make my mouth watery hours after having eaten it. My wife tried the perogies (Ukrainian). They were also absolutely perfect. The servings are quite generous so be careful! I will 100% return to keep trying all the amazing plates they had to offer.
I mean this VERY respectfully and not in creepy way: It was so good that I told the nice lady that took my order and helped make it that if I wasn’t married I would be asking her for her hand.
It was that good. Just go and try this place.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE! First time ever trying Ukrainian/Uzbek food.
The staff was super friendly and explained all the dishes to us, including how to eat them!
We got the borsht (soup), kharki (stuffed buns), and lamb plov. I can’t even pick a favorite, they were all AMAZING.
Time to plan a trip to Uzbekistan!

High quality. Just like the Ukrainian, Georgian, and Tatar food I've had in Ukraine. Amazing they're able to create those same flavors over here with local ingredients! Very impressed.

An absolute hidden gem! This Eastern European/Central Asian restaurant serves authentic, homemade dishes with incredible flavor and generous portions. The quality is top-notch—you can truly taste the care that goes into every bite. It may be tucked away in a corner of POST, but it’s 100% worth seeking out. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food!

Would definitely come back. Favorite part were the sour cherry 🍒 pierogi! Soooooo deliciously tart and the dumpling dough was amazing.

Soooo freaking good! Every dish we ordered had dill incorporated in some way, like in the dip or as a garnish and that added a little extra something.
So freaking yummy and fresh. The egg dish was my fave. It felt oddly nostalgic and very satisfying. Will definitely be back!

Had the Armenian Grill plate. All the meat kebabs and salads were delicious. Portion sizes are HUGE for the price. I got my food quickly and enjoyed sitting in the POST historical setting. Highly recommend for a great lunch.
