The chicken wings with eggs was excellent. I definitely recommend it if you like fried chicken. The biscuits are also really good.

I had ordered the 11 dollar breakfast plate eggs over hard they were runny, sausage was raw cooked, hash browns were smoochy I asked for crispy had to wave down some lady that had an attitude because i mentioned that I had asked for them that way she says I’m not the cook I said I know that why I’m irritating what I had said. She seemed to take it the wrong way I don’t know maybe the atmosphere to much for her who knows I came to try this place that everyone seems to recommend but to my enlightenment it’s not to my standards. I’ll stick to the one in Pasadena where the people are better served and acknowledged with curiosity.

They don’t season nothing here. The hash browns had no salt tasted like NOTHING, eggs had no flavor whatsoever. Not even the syrup tasted like syrup. It also needs to be remodeled because it looks DIRTY.

I have now been to all the different Franks in Houston and they all are great. They all have good food. They all have good service. Never had a problem. Never had an issue. Definitely my go to breakfast/brunch spot every time I come to town. Update: 5 Dec 2025, just wanted say that Rhonda is absolutely the BEST waitress at this Clinton address, yall need to request her, she was so amazing with my Hawaii family that was here visiting and they wanted some good breakfast food, I said let’s go to Frank’s Grill cause they are so good and we chose the Clinton spot and Miss Rhonda was our waitress and she was very nice very sweet. Great customer service and very attentive and I just wanted to say a special thank you and also don’t forget what we taught you merry Christmas in Hawaiian 🌲 Mele Kalikimaka😊

Everything was good until it was time to pay. The cashier was working more than station and we waited longer to pay our ticket than to get our food. The wait was really ridiculous. She took a to go order before us then left the register to go and tend to something else while we waited about 10 minutes to pay our ticket. Unsatisfied with that experience.

Sorry Frankie boi....Can't let this Chicken fried Hockey puck & Penitentiary gravy slide so easily. Hands down worst I've ever had . But the service was excellent, very attentive. Just a little difficult to place my order with the cooks blasting there tejano music , workers with there kids screaming in the corner tables.
