We tried Fred’s Place through a Too Good To Go order today for the first time, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, Damion (chef) was friendly, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere inside was great; we even played pool while waiting for our order. We're so glad we found this place through Too Good To Go and will definitely visit again. Great investment my kids loved it they said we have too come back more often and we will be returning as loyal customers. I loved it here! Houston, help this man out!!I ordered off the Too Good to Go App, and even though it was far away from where I stay, I'd go again! For just $7 I got wings, catfish PoBoy, fries, boudin Rice, brisket Sandwich and a slice of cake! All of it was delicious, but my favorite had to be the sandwich and PoBoy. I was so full my mom had to help me eat it. ? Fred was very nice, I was surprised to see no one was in there, he made it fresh and very quickly. The food was packaged well, since it was still warm when I got home (40 minutes away!)I'd definitely recommend this place to some friends, it's small but homely. I'd like to try the other dishes next!Parking: Open parking, could fit a good amount of cars.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp that leads up to the door, which is a pretty decent slant for wheelchairs.
Ummm food was fresh but I got a surprise plate from the to good to go app and it wasn't a surprise bag just a plate off their menu. But if u going just on your on the food was fresh. But I don't know if I will be returning. They put that lettuce and tomatoes on top of fried shrimp, catfish nuggets, and French fries.

When we first pulled up my son was a little hesitant as it didn't look like much. His tune quickly changed. The gentleman who was working the window was very pleasant. He answered my questions quite enthusiastically almost bragging about how good the food is. He wasn't lying. My son and I enjoyed the shrimp and catfish over fries with a topping of a little fresh salsa and tartar sauce (I believe). It was fresh, flavorable and plentiful. The fries seemed fresh cut. Everything was perfectly cooked. Look past the outside and just enjoy the food inside.
