Sometimes there may be a 5 to 10 minute wait for chicken
, but they always let you know so you can decide to stay or leave. Trust me, I always stay to get that next batch of chicken fresh out of the pan. The seasoned fries are amazing,...as long as they are still warm. The employees that served always smile and give great service.

Tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt after the last time but I come at 2 pm and how they don’t have any French fries or is always out of something. I won’t waste my time driving far to come to this location again smh do better.

This is the absolute worst Frenchys in the city of Houston. I live like 2 mins away so unfortunately it’s the closest one to me but they will never receive my business again. I hadn’t been in months because the last time I went two days in a row to order chicken and red beans and rice and they were out of the red beans. Two days in a row. I went at night around 8 pm and they weren’t set to close til 10 but they were out of red beans. So the second day I went during lunch, still out. And the staff is RUDE about it. As if asking for an item that’s on the menu is an inconvenience to them. Now here we are today. I place an Uber Eats order for 8pc with Red Beans, a side of Boudin Balls and a small side of fries. This order was placed two and a half hours before their posted closing time. And of course I paid inflated pricing due to ordering uber eats. So I paid nearly $50 for my order and what I received was a box of lukewarm chicken, and three large sides of fries, also lukewarm. I don’t understand how one runs a business when they can’t even keep the menu items stocked but whatever franchisee owns this location will never have to worry about me spending money there ever again. I will gladly drive to Veterans Memorial.

6:30 pm. No dirty rice and the chicken was cold.

I went at 7:45 pm to get food a lot of items was missing and before I pulled off from the drive thru the girl with the braids gone try to charge me extra for something I already paid for I didn’t receive a drink with my tender combo either and the lightskin lady who I’m assuming was the cook kept looking & laughing while waiting on my food. I will no longer come back to this location the people working here don’t have anycustomer service skills and hate to do their job I don’t have time to deal with rudeness when I’m paying my money I should get what I ordered.

Don’t go to the Frenchy’s on Rankin!!! The cook was already wearing a mask and coughing, then to top it off she was sweeping and handing food with her bare hands and no gloves on!!!! She took the fries out with her bare hands to drop in the fryer!!! #GiveMeMyMoneyBack

0/10 unless you’re STARVING on your last breath. The chicken was cold and dry, Rice was soggy. I can tell It’s been sitting there since this morning probably. And my role was wet for whatever reason. I went back to exchange it, (establishment is very dusty btw) and they wouldn’t let me exchange it for fresh hot chicken. They got very disrespectful when I asked for their names and the managers name. Lady with the blue shirt literally had her back turned while ignoring me because I wanted fresh chicken and not morning chicken. I spent $15 and I honestly feel like I got scammed. I’m sure the FDA wouldn’t approve of this restaurant.

New to Houston area. First and probably last time trying this place. Customer service was good at the drive thru. Got a 4 piece fried chicken combo w red beans and rice, cornbread. The fried chicken was good. Cornbread was ok, but it was cold like it was in the fridge. The red beans (looked grey) and rice had a sour taste to them. Tried a second bite and had to throw it out. Those beans had definitely gone bad. Disappointing because I really liked the fried chicken.

Order was messed up. My fries were very soft I'm not fresh I did not get all the chicken that I paid for

Best fried chicken. I enjoy chicken that is cooked all the way to the bone. Frenchy’s gets it right and the flavor is spot on. The sides are good too, but I just want the Chicken. My favorite desert is the Lemon cake.
I was disappointed the last visit because they had no fried chicken breast. I hope the next time I go there, they will have some delicious fried chicken breast.
I am very please with the ladies who prepare the food, they are always courteous and attentive. I love Frenchy’s fried chicken!

10 fish, 10 shrimp and family fries came out to 45.00...Expensive!...and my children gulped it up without thinking about others. Everything evaporated in 15 mins. I'm not fond of the shrimp as I am with the fish. The next time, I'm buying only the fish. Fried fresh too...the food maintained its heat after buying 25 mins away.

Chicken good. ALL the sides are nasty. And the screen menu don’t work and the workers act like they can’t tell u the menu. Maybe they should print some paper menus until they get the screen fixed.
