If I could have rated this place zero stars. I would have. Somebody need to get the health department out to this establishment expeditiously. Ain’t no way they feeding people this chicken. They had fans full of lint, dirt, grease, and debris blowing right on the food. I don’t even want to talk about the soda dispenser. I’m sure it’s teaming with bacteria and fecal matter. You can see it just looking at it… gunk built up all over it. Fly traps hanging from the ceiling. Disgusting. Somebody need to put a stop to this place before someone get seriously ill or worse!!!

Comes highly recommended but was a disappointment. Run down and falling apart, the cashier couldn’t even be bothered to stand up to take our order and make us feel welcome.
They weren’t stocking any of the menu items that were a draw to trying it. The location is in disrepair and it is uninviting
The only reason the food gets a 2 is because it was hot and fresh. Otherwise well below the standard of fried chicken in Houston. Good value at least. We shared an 8 pc family meal post Rugby

Just ordered 5pc wing dinner and a 3pc campus. 12/13/25 @ 2:57pm. The chicken was not seasoned or even close to Frenchy’s expectation. There was a Hispanic guy dropping the chicken. But whoever tried to season the chicken needs to be retrained. $26 down the drain!! 🤬

Stood in line at lunch time for 10 minutes and waited for
my food for 10 minutes to only get cold chicken wings! Then they didn’t have enough wings so they gave me legs. Ridiculous! Also, I noticed a white SUV in the drive thru when I was walking in and when I left the SUV was still sitting in the drive thru. Do Better!

They only ask select people if they want ketchup and hot sauce so you may want to remember to ask. Service is what you would expect on that side of town. Bad attitude, but fresh food. Food was great 👍🏾 👌🏿 😋

The food was good, but the atmosphere and staff was great! You can tell the employees are led by a fantastic leader, who I later met as Queen Lillie! Lillie has a heart of gold that flows to the people who work with her. Trust is huge in business, and they obviously trust Lillie!
My Kings meal was hot, and when she told me that one of the employees personally made the peach cobbler, I had to try it.
Sorry I forgot your name, but I will definitely remember how good and tasty your cobbler was.
It was no need for me to drive from Pearland to Scott Street. Ms. Lillie and her girls took great care of me. I will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire Frenchy's staff on Almeda for loving what you do, and being patient with somewhat picky customers as myself. I give great customer service in Mary Kay.
Therefore, I know it when I see it. I definitely saw it today @ Frenchy's on Almeda!

The drive through sucks. They won’t answer the menu call and they ignore the window when you drive up to it even after sitting for 10 to 15 minutes.

If -1 was possible I'd leave that. I drove 30 minutes to get here! I order my food, then he proceeds to tell me we don't have any breast. ???? Why not post a sign outside saying we are out of chicken, sorry for the inconvenience, or better yet have your orders set and ready for your customers. It's Thursday! Nothing special about this day. I am so sick of black owned establishments serving their own customers the same sub par behavior that we have complained and fought about receiving from other races. This is not OK
