The establishment does not secure the delivery orders. They just put the food in a bag so there’s no way of knowing whether the driver has had any contact with your food. This poses an unsanitary as well as an unsafe situation.

Ordered a Large Red beans and rice and got one tiny scoop red beans and the rest was dirty rice in which I didn't order... called and was informed they ran out of white rice so that was the option that you decided for me to eat that I payed my hard earned money for!! They offer to correct it but, I'm way on the other side of town and all you had to do was be honest up front.....last of my business

The chicken is great!! If I'm being honest, my side dishes: greens and red beans were better than the original location. I am so impressed and this will be my new location. Customer service was good and down home. Very impressive for a small location!! Great job Y'all!!

These people have no respect for time. They knew I was waiting on a big door dash order, but they chose to fill other orders first. Making me wait for more chicken to be prepared. I like fresh chicken, but they know to go orders are on time limits.

There were roaches in my greens. I tried to call back and they never answer the phone at this location. There is NO WAY they are not aware that they have a roach problem. To continue serving food while they have this issue is mind-blowing and nasty to say the least. The crust was falling off of the chicken and it was old and cold. Not sure if it's new management, or they just don't care, but I will never eat at this location again!

My friends and I ordered four 24-piece Tailgate packages for our HBCU Homecoming Tailgate from the Almeda Location. I went in a day early to reserve and pay for the order, and I’m happy to say the food was ready on time, packaged well, and seasoned perfectly. The manager was incredibly sweet and accommodating! I will definitely be using them again. I just wish I had gotten the names of the manager and the other lady who assisted me.

New to Houston and heard this was the place to go. 1st experience was super hot, fresh chicken and over the top customer service. 2nd and 3rd visits were literally thee exact opposite. I will not be returning. Also never have boudin rolls, atp just take it off the menu.
