I might be strange but this place does not live up to the hype people rave about online the food is subpar, the drinks are ehhhhhh. The best thing about this place is the service.

Not a great place. Food is not good…. I ordered the sliders that were way over cooked and basically burnt. The salmon was also terrible….The drink I ordered had a bug floating in it. They have a large drink menu but when you try to order a drink they are out of stock and end up having a very limited selection. Waiter did not seem to know anything about the menu either. And they automatically add a 20% tip to the bill (we only had a small table of 2 people) …. We tip really well when we go out when things are good but this place was horrible and had no right adding a 20% tip automatically…. And no where is it posted that they do this……Overrall really unhappy and will not be coming back nor recommending this place to anyone. Terrible is an understatement.

I recently visited Frnds for first time since they opened 2 years ago and had an amazing experience! The lobster chilli pasta was realllly delicious and flavorful, with great spice level! My server Chudi, was attentive and friendly and very professional. I loved how smooth hookah the hookah was and the hookah personnel Mustafa was so accommodating, which added to the overall ambiance and service. I also loved how they had an outdoor seating area, great for sunny days! The only thing I would recommend if possible is having some non-pre fixed hookah flavors. Just a suggestion:) To anyone looking for great food, excellent service, good music, and a relaxing atmosphere—I would highly recommend Frnds.

Server excellent. CHUDI. This place is a vibe for hookah and coctails but lacks the it factor for food. The lamb chops were delicious but overcooked. Ordered medium rare. The creamed collared greens are comparable to creamed spinach. That may not be appealing to a broader audience. Overall, I would eat here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do it.

Chudi was an incredible server. He was very helpful in answering our questions! However I cannot give 5 stars because there was zero wine. None. They had about 20 offerings but they had none of them. Food was good! Gratuity was applied for a part of 3.
Chudi was amazing!!!!! The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. Very flavorful. The music was a hit throughout the entire experience. Out hookah was great as well. I was skeptical at first, because the menu seemed small but you can tell they specialize in every dish and curating unique and memorable experiences. I will definitely return the next time I’m in Houston. And once again, Chudi thank you for enhancing this dining experience.
