This is an overly pricey Chinese restaurant for what you get. Plates average $20-25 and come out within mere minutes, something that’s great for fast food, but not so much for sit down restaurants. Flavor wise, it’s very simple and lacks interesting or unique spice blends. It’s almost like they use premade/bottled sauces. Most importantly, the service was awful… and I mean AWFUL! The servers are terribly rude, constantly staring at you, reaching over your food, clearing your table before you’re ready to leave, and telling customers no before storming off to the kitchen after simple requests. That alone makes me want to give this place one star, but the manager/owner is actually friendly, so I won’t do that. I guarantee there are better options in town if you’re craving Asian cuisine.

The food ingredients are fresh - we ordered free lunch delivery at the office. It is adequate. The chicken fried rice is a huge portion. The Mongolian beef is lacking that sweet and salty flavor for me. It's a great bargain deal for lunch, the portion is rather large and could feed two people easily. The Mongolian beef flavor reminds me of a brown gravy - I expected a real nice flavor like PF change Mongolian beef flavor - the ingredients are quality though. I won't order again...the service and delivery was fast as all hell - the food was piping hot when it arrived and we are on the fifth floor. Maybe I should have ordered the kung pay chicken.

Food was EXTREMELY BLAND and had ZERO flavor. I have always wanted to try this place and ordered it for pick up. I wasted $60 and the food is not worth

Szechuan was very sugary. It tasted like corn syrup and orange juice rather than a zesty, somewhat spicy ginger flavour. The egg rolls were awful. I enjoy 90% of Asian restaurants, so I'm not a picky eater, but this one was really disappointing. The service was excellent and the hot and sour soup was delicious.

I ordered mongolian chicken & shrimp dish. The experience wasn’t memorable, won’t go that again. Wish the menu has more

This is not just your local neighborhood Chinese restaurant. You can tell from the number of people dining in and ordering out. With a large dining area and an open but separated bar dining area-with a TV- they can handle the high traffic. Servers are very attentive and observant when needing tea refills or time for bill. Our server still recognized us even though we had moved to another city and hadn't been there for over a year. Food is delicious. From the steamed rice to the shrimp dishes and everything in between, each menu item will meet if not exceed taste bud requirements. The serving size is satisfying as well. Always a fave when we come back home to Houston.

I had the vegetable soup, the spicy beef with vegetables, and the hot tea (which was served as a whole single-person pot and not an individual cup) it was all really good and we got there just before the dinner rush so while the restaurant was empty it was quiet and the staff was

Szechuan was too sweet. Instead of a citrusy ginger flavor with a little heat, it tasted like corn-syrup and orange juice. The egg rolls were terrible. I’m not a picky eater and 90% of all Asian restaurants I like but my experience here was remarkably bad. Hot and sour soup was good and the service was great.

This neighborhood restaurant is in the shopping center across from H‑E‑B. The inside is a little dated, but the staff is friendly and there’s plenty of parking. I come here every week for the orange chicken!

I came in for the family deal on a Wednesday evening and ordered beef with broccoli which was ok. But if I eat at a Chinese restaurant what I really enjoy is the hot & sour soup. But it’s not good here.First off, the soup is not substantial. While the flavor is good, it is little more than corn-starch thickened broth. It was vegetarian base with small julienne strips of tofu, bamboo shoots, and very little fungus. This soup also had quite a lot of white pepper which caused my lips to burn afterwards. Next came the appetizers:A spring roll, cheese puff, shrimp toast and you’re served one piece each. The spring roll had only cabbage inside so was not flavorful. The cheese puff was also just cheese and fried dough (completely lacking in flavor). The shrimp toast was unlike anything I’ve ever had before (and not in a good way); I would not eat their “shrimp toast” again, either. Had I eaten this meal as take-out I would have rated 1-star but table service was acceptable so I granted an extra star. The beef with broccoli was fine (the broccoli could have been a little more cooked). Would I eat here again? No, probably not, the minimal effort taken to provide something presented as a “deal” turned out to be additions to the meal which I would never pay for or order again at this restaurant.
