Love this place!! Have been three times in as many weeks. Never disappoints! Fresh; full flavor, beautifully presented. We get different things every time. It's all delicious.

Top Sushi: New Orleans Roll / Bottom Sushi: Houston Roll. They are amazing I highly recommend these two, please be aware that these sushi's do contain raw tuna or fish. Overall customer service was excellent, they were efficient and very attentive. The ambiance was very modern I loved it and I love that this restaurant plays a variety of music that's accommodating to all which was very cool. Their sushi is very delicious and I love the fact that they also offer other dishes besides sushi for those who may not eat sushi. They're very accommodating to their customers which to me it shows their appreciation for their customers.

I enjoy this chain and its variety. From Chinese American to Japanese American, Akashi serves both types of cuisines well. The interior is casual but nice, with a full bar including bar seating as necessary. You can enjoy the latest sports games while you dine. The expansive menu offers a great variety. For the Chinese main dishes, one chooses the protein and then preparation style. The pupu platter is a great option for a sampler platter. On the Japanese side of the menu, there's a huge selection of rolls. I thoroughly enjoyed the Utah roll which had a bit of everything in terms of filling. The fish is always fresh tasting. Service is so-so. The wait staff is very young and not as attentive as other places. Still an overall great spot that offers the standard fare. Don't expect anything mind blowing, but the execution is solid.

The sushi, service and ambiance were great. We got there at the perfect time because it started to get packed later on. Other than that, I wish they offered a happy hour menu.

If you're looking for a great Asian restaurant this in awesome option! Great portions reasonable prices. Great ambience, not my choice of music, I only prefer Christian music, but with great food and company the music disappears every time. I recommend the Mongolian Triple Delight, amazing every time!

I decided to try this place out and relax and I did relax. The ambiance was so chill and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I was served very quickly, even though I was sitting at the bar, so the servicing is pretty obvious when you are right in front of the bartender the entire time. I ordered the Japanese shogun bento box and rock and roll sushi. The sushi was 10 out of 10; definitely want to get more for take out and the bento box was 6 out of 10; not seasoned, just crispy panko or flour, whichever it is fried in. Overall, I recommend this restaurant and will be back!

This place is in a great area and seems to be busy a lot! The inside is very cool and has a nice vibe at night. The staff was great and very friendly. They had some of the best sushi I have ever tasted and the other food was great as well!! The prices are a little on the expensive side but for the quality and portions it is well worth it!!! And it's just right down the road from us so we cannot wait to go back!

The sushi is great just wish that that the guy at the bar taking orders was a little-more friendly. The wait staff is nice the ones that have served us the ambiance is nice as well. Just trendy chill.

This place is one of our regular sushi spots in the Humble area. The owner/manager now knows us by name and I'm not sure if that is good or bad haha; but we are always given great service. I know prices went up after covid but I don't think it was unreasonable, some of the rolls are huge and it doesn't take much to get filled up. We do take out quite often because...kids. Our orders are always correct and we are always given more utensils or extra condiments than needed. We love to catch their lunch specials sometimes and we always enjoy some hot sake on date nights. I have been to other locations of this chain and the food is always good but the ambiance just isn't the same. Highly recommend this place.

Visted Akashi Fusion Asian and Sushi Bar on a whim after looking on Yelp to find the closest sushi spot. I was gifted sake from Tokyo and I wanted to pair it with sushi. I stopped by to order takeout and they had a full house dining in--great sign if it's your first time at an eatery! There was a nice lady behind the bar who assisted me with ordering. She noted it would be a 20-25 minute wait and I was ok with that. After I arrived several other guests came for takeout and even though there was a wait time, they happily waited--another positive sign! I ordered the black pepper tuna (appetizer) and two sushi rolls. Sadly, I can't remember what they were called but they were fresh and delicious! I was very impressed because good sushi in the suburbs is hard to come by. I'll definitely come back and I look forward to trying other things on the menu.

This is my new go to spot. I don't know why I haven't taken pictures yet. The food is delicious and service is great. I order to go a lot and I think it's reasonably priced for the amount of food and quality you get. The general chicken is my go to and recently had the salt and pepper shrimp. It's all good!

I love their chicken friend rice and chicken broccoli. They are sometimes really busy where I cannot call my order in to pick up, but they are really nice
