Long time regular of this local watering hole to my own detriment, and unfortunately I've had to bear witness to the slow deterioration of the location in general but there's still hope for it in my heart. It might not ever return to its glory days but if the toxic drama that often pops off in there could be eliminated as well as some other problem areas It could at least be respectable again, and that would be good enough.
Just the first time I went, the other lounge about 5 buildings down, had a shooting. The cops came and tapped the whole block up for 7 hours so we were stuck there until we Ubered home at 6am. Then after waking up later Sunday, we had to go back and get our cars. Nice place bad day to go. It will be awhile before I go to any pub spot again.
This place used to be pretty excellent. Went in on the night the Astros lost the WS. We asked about food. It was just after 10. The only bartender there said kitchen was closed, but I have been there and gotten food well after 10. I guess what she meant was I am the only one here. We ordered 3 Turkey & Coke. They were very watered down. We paid and left. Probably won't go back unless there is nothing else. 3 stars is being generous.
