I came to the restaurant to pick up an Uber eats order. According to the instructions on the app from the restaurant, I was supposed to come in and pick up the order at the counter. There was a sign that said pick up at the counter, so I stood there and waited. No one said hello no one greeted me. No one said I’ll be with you right one second there were about four or five men in line ordering food. There was one woman at the register taking their orders when she got to the last gentleman she looked over at me and asked if I needed anything. Well, of course I need something. I’m standing here. It would be nice to someone say hello welcome how may I help you? I informed her that I was here to pick up an Uber eats order. She said that it will be right out then after a while, the order was ready and she handed it to me and I was on my way to get it delivered. However, the service that I received just to pick up the order was very poor. Am I honest opinion no one read me. She asked if I need anything else. She’s standing at the counter for no reason not how may I help you? It’s very dry and lackluster and I would not go back to patronize this location with my own dollar.

I ordered from Tortas Gigantes el Enmascarado on UberEats with my coworker, and unfortunately it was a really disappointing experience. We both ended up nauseated with stomach aches afterward.

We ordered nachos, but they were nothing like the traditional nachos you’d expect at a Mexican restaurant. The chips were small, circular, soggy, and stale, topped with canned nacho cheese—the kind you’d find at a middle school concession stand. To make matters worse, the food arrived cold and half of our order was missing.

It’s surprising because this place has high reviews, but this particular menu item was not authentic, not tasty, and honestly made us sick. Maybe dining in is better, but I would not recommend ordering nachos from here through UberEats. Please be mindful—it’s not what you’d expect and definitely not worth it.

Unfortunately this place was a big let down. Though thier tortas are big, they had hardly any meat in them. The carne asada was bland, it had no flavor. I expected more when paying $15 dollar a torta. Will not be going back.

They charged $10 for Birria Ramen, but the menu says it is $8.50. It was a smaller portion compared to another place I go to for Birria Ramen. Be that as it may, it was delicious, and I will visit again.

Birria tacos were soggy and falling apart. some were only half of taco. Our aguas also had no flavor, to best describe they were like sugar with water. Never again!

The restaurant is very spacious and nicely decorated, with colorful tables, pictures, masks, and event flyers on the walls. They offer two bathrooms (1 for men’s and 1 women’s), serve beer, aguas frescas, sodas, churros, and two types of salsa (green and red).

The menu needs some updating, prices for the tortas differ between the wall menu not having the prices on the tortas, while in the online menu it gives full prices, and handout menu. The cashier was aware of the item I ordered and could made adjustments as well to let me know other things that the torta had, but clearer pricing would help.

The floor was semi-clean, tables were cleaned promptly after customers left. My food only being a torta took 20–25 minutes to make, which felt a little long given it wasn’t a complex order and there weren’t tons of people around.

The torta itself was a good size and tasty, but a little light on the avocado part which I wished it had more in it. The drink I took on the fridge was at an “okay” temperature, not very cold probably due to the amount of drinks in it, a second fridge would help them to have a faster colder drinks.

Overall: Good atmosphere, friendly service, a solid good size torta, but the wait time, drink temperature, and menu clarity could be improved.

Food lacked in flavor, bottom of the bread was soggy, but beside that the it’s a cute spot. I wouldn’t go back even tho the portion was decent.

The Campechana Torta is substantial enough to serve two people. The loaded fries, being tasty, offer a smaller portion than expected for the price. However, the gorditas de chicharron stand out as the best my wife and I have ever tasted, making them highly recommendable. The atmosphere feels authentically reminiscent of a small shack in Mexico. Customer service was excellent; staff were friendly and accommodating. A return visit is definitely in my plans.

The place was crazy cool! Lots to see and try. The food portion was huge. Few seats here and the server only spoke Spanish so I couldn't communicate that I wanted all the veggies but overall the sandwich was still filling and really good. I would go again for sure
