My first time visiting this place I had a great time. I never thought I would be brave enough to sing Karaoke in front of other people. But, the atmosphere is so great even on a Sunday, that I was brave enough to sing. Perhaps it was the sake, who knows, but food was delicious as well. I will be coming back with friends and family. Thank you Genji.

Got the curry omu rice and yakiniku - food wise taste pretty average I would not return. The Yakiniku is a little too salty and the rice taste all right nothing stood out or special there. It’s like a casual karaoke public bar area that opens late night. Service - super friendly staff

food was not that appetizing, no flavoring in it at all. smelled heavily of bleach throughout the restaurant, restrooms immediate left once you enter. no free refills as well, would not be coming back.
i have also seen others post about the waiters/waitresses adding onto the tip so i hope thats not the case and adding onto that note they are inattentive, we sat there for 10 before we had to go up to someone to ask for the bill.
i had high hopes because of the ratings but i really should’ve read first before making a decision, as stated earlier, would not be coming back.

The food is cheap for a reason if you dont like vegetables dont come here. Theres not a lot of meat ratio too vegetables so keep that in mind. The server expecting the tip is one thing thats understable but the owner asking why u didnt tip is a whole other thing how do you want tips but u give me 5 pieces of chicken pls the audacity of people.

Nice karaoke place! Microphone with great sound but takes some effort to install karaoke app on the phone to set up. Takoyaki, calamari were just okay but sushi and beef tongue were great! Efficient service too.

I was there very very briefly with 3 friends, we ordered 3 drinks and 1 kaarage. The food was below average but that wasn’t the worst part. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was EMPTY. Probably because it smelled like piss and BO. The service wasn’t anything to rave about either. Given the fact that there was very little service, I didn’t tip much. Again, just 1 drink per person and ONE shared appetizer. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. When it came time to pay, I paid the bill and left a tip. Yes, the tip was low. But the service was substandard and again, the restaurant REEKED, was dirty, dusty and disgusting. The old man at the bar immediately got hostile, and said “FOR THIS BILL, THIS IS ALL?” I’m sorry but tipping is voluntary. You tip because you want to, if your employee is not making ends meet that’s on YOU to pay her better. Again, the service was not that great to begin with. I changed the tip because the man was hostile, rude and disrespectful. Will not be going back. Avoid if you don’t want food poisoning.

We used to come here often back in the days and decided to visit again since we were in the area. We used to visit a lot before COVID when the bar area was open.

Mostly when we visit now, it's mainly for the food. The bar area is still closed, so there is only dine in at the tables or the reserved karaoke rooms.

We always order the Atarime (dry squid) and the Curry Udon. The Atarime with the mayo and soy sauce is always good, and the beef in the Curry Udon is always delicious and hot. The broth is also rich and flavorful.

The only thing we noticed that we didn't like was the odor of the restroom that hits you as soon as you walk in. The facilities are to your immediate left as you enter the restaurant, and it was quite unpleasant. Luckily, when we were seated to the tables in the main dining area, we didn't notice the smell.

It's hard to find a restaurant that stays consistent for many years, with the obstacles of change in the economy, but at least the food is still good.

I went with a teenage boy early around 7:30. We had gyoza and Sunagimo (chicken gizzards) Namban for appetizers. He had Om Katsu Curry. It’s Omelette Rice with Pork Katsu Curry on top. He thinks it’s the most amazing food on the planet. I ordered Ramen with Stir fried veggie & chicken. Their ramen is not that great by itself. When I used to come here regularly I wanted find a way to improve the taste of it because I’m a ramen addict :). I live far away now and don’t get to come here often. I know they have a lot of great traditional Japanese food. But what I missed most tonight was that odd dish I created. No it’s not on their menu. I order two dishes and ask them to combine it. To me it’s a taste of nostalgia. For the first timers, I would recommend Ribeye Steak Teriyaki, Hamburg Dinner Plate, Yakitori with Salt only, Grilled Squid, or Om Rice (ketchup fried rice in omelette). These are great tasting food at a very reasonable price. Cheers!
