This was a first visit to Georgia James Steak, and it was excellent. This was a lunch the day after Thanksgiving, so not busy at all. The service was top notch with that "just enough" monitoring for questions/refills but not hovering. My filet was perfectly cooked to my request and the sides were tasty enough to take leftovers home. Everyone was exceptionally nice and the food is worth recommending. In addition to the meal, the pre-meal cocktails were excellent. It's always nice when you can simply name a cocktail and the staff know exactly what you are looking for and if there needs to be any follow up questions. Overall a restaurant I would recommend!

Georgia James is a new restaurant at Regency Square. It's a classy, modern steak house, boasting masterclass steaks, cut at the table , cooked to perfect temperature . We shared the porterhouse steak which is my favorite cut. The peppercorns crust was wonderful , perhaps more generous with the garlic butter . The steak fries were probably some of the best I've had, thick potato cuts salted, light crip . See pictures below. Perfect for date night or a group experience. Pricing is fair and comparable to other steakhouses. Hats off to the staff for the service, they do all the work to make the place great for everyone. They deserve all the tips .

Update-Chris Shepherd sold this restaurant in late 2024, we went to dinner in Nov 2025 and it is NOT the same quality. They seemed to struggle at every step from service to the sommelier. The timing was wildly off, large gaps of time passed between ordering and orders arriving. We had one guest drinking beer and he waited over 10 minutes to get a beer. We ordered a bottle of champagne, the set up red wine glasses, then it took them forever to bring the bottle out. The restaurant was pretty empty, so it's not a server in the weeds issue. It was a very underwhelming experience, especially if you visited the original Georgia James. We won't be back, there are WAY better experiences for the price level.
I have been here several times and the food is always solid. Wine and liquor list is extensive. My favorite choices are hanger steak and lamburger helper, it's all good but those are my favorites.

I live nearby, so I enjoy dropping into this restaurant from time to time. The Friday lunch menu is excellent — the food was flavorful, plentiful, and beautifully presented. The martini specials are truly special! The bartender, Esay, was outstanding — friendly, professional, and genuinely made me feel welcome and appreciated. On the other hand, one of my pet peeves is when managers don't take a moment to greet guests. In this case, Tahiana was at the entrance when I arrived, later moved behind the bar, and again by the entrance desk when I left — yet not once did she stop to ask how everything was. That said, I still enjoyed my visit and definitely plan to return.
