Elite quality standards for espresso. They offer Amaya Temporada as their default, monthly rotating guest roasters from around the country, and Amaya decaf.
They repeatedly dial espresso throughout the day & whisk matchas by hand.
Always super busy on weekends. No indoor tables, outdoor only. If you need somewhere to sit indoors with quality coffee, drive 10min to Blendin.
Usually a hot vegan chorizo empanada available, and always a few vegan snacks from Sinfull.

The people saying that there are a bunch of baristas but the service is slow are basically spot on. They had 4 baristas today and we had to wait 5 minutes in line and an additional 15 minutes for our drink. Also, they got my drink wrong lol. I will still probably come here once in a while.

Nice coffee spot with outdoor seating. Cappuccino was good, but they only serve in paper cups, not normal mugs.

I really did not like my experience, I was waiting for my Iced coffee and once it was ready someone said the order but since I was having a conversation I did not hear. So all 3-4 staff members decide to scream my order. I think that was so unnecessary and rude. I will not be coming back again.

Absolutely the best coffee I’ve had you can tell they really care about the quality of their coffee. The atmosphere is just as impressive beautiful, and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy your drink. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Extremely over priced, small size, and bitter coffee 🥴. Super disappointed, it was gross. We got 2 flat whites for $13 something dollars in this sample sized cup

I've been coming to Giant Leap off and on since 2023. I have been there 3 times in the last month, and I'm honestly disappointed in the decline in service. On one occasion, the barista seemed annoyed that I was asking questions about the breakfast taco ingredients, on a second occasion, I left, after standing at the counter waiting to be acknowledged -- the staff looked to be a bit busy, I wasn't expecting them to stop working, but an acknowledgment of my presence would have been nice. Today, after purchasing a gift card for a coworker, I decided to order something for myself. Two women in line behind me both ordered food/beverages; their items were done before mine was. I approached the counter to inquire about how long it would take for my items. I was met with annoyance on the part of the barista, who then asked me what I ordered and what the ticket number was. I informed her I didn't have a ticket, but I ordered the turkey pesto sandwich. She was dismissive, walked away to get the sandwich, then shoved it toward me, barely looking in my direction, and without an apology or word about the delay or the mix up.I also don't understand why it took almost 10 minutes to get a premade, cold sandwich. I work in a similar field, and have managed multiple 3rd wave coffee shops. I understand how time consuming it is to measure each cup of tea and each dose of espresso, so I empathize with them being in the weeds. What I don't understand is the reasoning behind being rude to someone who is not being rude to you, rushing you, or complaining.

I love coffee and people ask me for recommendations all the time. Giant Leap was in my top 5, now, I don't know that I will recommend them again for fear they will be rude to someone else, who is less understanding and patient.

I always enjoy grabbing a coffee or matcha latte after eating at the flower child. However, this time the order was wrong. I ordered hot coffee but they gave me an iced coffee. I said I ordered hot, young lady (manager) said, “no you didn’t.” I thought that was rude so I just took it and left but got in the car and decided to call and talk about her attitude. She answered the phone and was even more rude saying she is the manager and that I likely got distracted and ordered wrong. I asked for her name and she said I do not need to know. I asked for the owner’s info and she said the owners do not involve in such matters. I just told her to fix her tone when she talks to customers and be nicer.

Pretty solid spot with a nice outdoor setup, some fun coffee choices, and breakfast tacos that hit the right notes. Inside is tiny, and the front area jams up fast. Both times I went, they had plenty of baristas but the order flow moved like a slow parade. They take an order or two, make the drinks, then circle back, which pushes the line out the door. I even watched folks give up and leave. Good place, but they’d shine with one person taking orders and the rest cranking out drinks. A little system tweak would go a long way.

Latte was good, but the line was outrageous. With 4 baristas working and not a single one taking orders at the counter, the 45 minute wait was way too long for a quick Sunday morning cup of coffee…
