Pull up there for steak night on Wednesday. Or whichever day they do it I don’t know. But I was surprised to see it pretty quiet in there. It was around 9:30. However nonetheless steak was amazing. Sides were great and even though it was kind of slow, the staff was friendly nice great spot! Be cool to see it. Pick up some business before it fades away. And when I talk about the steak being amazing, I mean it was very good. I ate steak all the time got a ribeye cooked medium. They nailed it. Juicy flavorful seasoned properly all that 1010 on the steak.

DO NOT PAY WITH CARD!!!!!!!!!! I would’ve given this place five stars because we really enjoyed ourselves and it’s a really cool place to hang out. The reason why I’m only giving it. One star is because we visited Houston from a different city and when we got there, I bought the first round and I remember my total was $25 and some change so our vacation is over and we get home and I’m looking at my bank statement and they charged me. I believe it was like $72 so I made about six phone calls two emails and I even messaged them on Instagram and every single time I talk to somebody they tell me that they’re gonna take care of it. They’re gonna send me a copy of my receipt so I can submit it into my bank nine different request in three different ways and I still have yet to get my receipt from July 12, 2025 I Talk to the manager or owner I’m not real sure what he is but the man named Todd I was able to talk to him once and ever since then I don’t get any phone calls back and I get told that he’s not there bottom line it’s not even about the money at this point it’s the principal because they’re obviously overcharging people and who knows how many times they’ve done this. Just be careful if you’re paying with a credit card or your bank card.

I wouldn’t recommend opening a tab here. I was there Friday night celebrating a friend’s birthday. Opened a tab . Closed my tab out . And for some reason or another my card was charged twice. I’ve been calling and am getting horrible customer service. No one seems to know what’s going on. is this place ran with just bartenders. Is there no management. If there is it’s awful!

Great spot for some karaoke. We went on Wednesday for a birthday which happened to be steak night. A ribeye was $22 and came with 2 sides. Served up hot, fresh, and juicy on a cutting board. What more could you want? They serve several other cuts of steak at different prices. The guy that ran the karaoke was really cool and he brings great vibes to the place. They ID at the door and we had no issues there at all. Would definitely come back.

The Bouncer was very rude and unprofessional. We were celebrating my daughter’s Birthday and it was everyone’s first time here. We asked where could we park never said a word just pointed and stayed looking in his phone. It took us 30 minutes to find out that it was free parking on Sunday. So we could park anywhere. Went inside to speak with and another person that said that they would have a conversation with him. We then looked up and seen him arguing with another one of are friends. I’m not staying Customers are always right. But Jon are cussing at a women who has served for are country. And is ready to fight her and knowing how to service people in general and is very much rude. Shouldn’t be at the front door working for any Establishment. And the other workers did absolutely nothing about him treating people in this manner. I’ve been In Customer Service industry for many and never in my 35 years experience this

The atmosphere, food, and drinks at Glitter Karaoke Bar were actually fantastic—great vibes and a fun setup overall. However, the experience was completely ruined by the DJ. I was celebrating a themed “old person” birthday, and despite the lighthearted fun, the DJ refused to play any of the songs from our party list. It felt personal and honestly just rude. He didn’t even acknowledge the request, and his attitude put a damper on what should’ve been a memorable night. If guests can’t participate or have their song choices respected, what’s the point of a karaoke bar? I strongly suggest replacing the DJ or at least installing a jukebox-style system where customers can select their own songs. Until then, I won’t be returning.

Ambiance: Karaoke bar with a cool ambiance! Perfect for large groups, a fun night out solo watching karaoke performers, or a unique date night! Glitter has always been one of my favorite local karaoke spots in Houston.
Street parking available. Venue is 21+ and they check IDs at the door! Full bar with many drink options. Does get crowded on weekends - the later it gets, the busier! I would recommend arriving closer to 8pm if you are a large group. Ample seating options and tons of songs to choose from. They have a fog machine and lighting effects for when you're up on stage. Fun & cool spot!

Really enjoyed my time at Glitter studio. My bridesmaids and I traveled from Philadelphia to Houston for my Bachelorette and put this place on our itinerary. Im so happy I did, we all agreed this was the highlight of our trip. Let me also mention the owner was there Dj-ing and setting the vibes. He was so nice and down to earth, let me also mention this place is Black-Owned. Highly recommend 10/10.

Last night celebrating my bday, I ordered two 20 piece wings which are $24 each, the total was $51.69 the bartenders charged $61.69 to my card. He gave himself a tip without permission and i never no matter where I go, tip on my card my tips are always cash. I wouldn't tip that guy the drinks were water down. Not only for me, but my guest are sending me pics of their receipts and he indeed was giving himself tips on everything without permission. Ice been coming to Glitter for 3 years and never had an issue, but when the staff change there's always someone doing shady. I never leave a tab open don't do it its room for more shady and unauthorized tips or charges.
