Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

I don't even know where to start! This place is so gross in sanitary purposes. The bathrooms are disgustingly dirty! The floors are so dirty! All the tables are left with trash! The windows of the place is dirty. Last of all the food was not fresh of course. I don't want to come into a place that's so dirty and eat food like it's normal. To the owner quit being so cheap!

I tried Golden Corral out on a Monday night. I had dinner . Which surprised me at $20 a person. The food was basic, definitely not worth $20 for a buffet. However the chopped steak was good, the cook did an awesome job with that. They are kid and family friendly!!!! There were not a many of options when it came to dessert .

Floors were dirty, water all over the ladies' restroom, not very clean. Not all food was good...if you got fresh fried it was good, some other foods were ok. Our waitress was on top of getting dirty plates cleared, drinks refilled and friendly.We hadn't been there in some time as the last time food was horrible, it was dirty beyond belief. But we thought since it had been so long, (and hoped that manager changes would make a difference)we would give it another chance....OUR MISTAKE....we will not go back to the one on 529 Houston TX for sure.Would I recommend NO WAY..

I was disappointed. I hadn’t been there since before Covid. It’s not the same.

I went last weekend. The steak line is chaotic and it’s hard to get one, much less another piece. They need a number system. It claims on the billboard to be ‘All you can eat’ steak’ on weekends and nights. But it should be reworded, “All you can fight for steak”, because when you go ask for steak, you get told to come back up in ten minutes. If you wait, it feels awkward, so you listen.Then, by the time you go back up as you were directed, there are others waiting for steak that came after you. They get served first and it does not matter you requested your piece first, and you’re lucky if the man cooking gives you a decent sized steak for all that trouble. You’d think he pays for them himself. He only gave me tiny pieces and I had to go through this twice. It’s chaotic and you’re lucky to get a second steak in the midst of that mess. So, I won’t be paying for this again. It didn’t feel like all I could eat at all. I basically paid more for nothing.

The Golden Corral is one my favorite buffet spots to go to, I had been to many locations in several states and I had never been disappointed, this location FM 529 in Houston, TX is a great spot to enjoy a meal and have a good conversation. They offer a discount for seniors and also have healthy good meals for anyone. I highly recommend this exquisite dining experience!

Food was pretty good on our last trip here and improved over the previous time. Service was okay. There was regular steak, shrimp, and other items that were sought after. However, the ice cream machine was down, some dispensers were out, and there seemed to be a chronic lack of silverware available. Zero complaints about the food, but it seems they've got a little more logistic work to do.

The more I come here the more I realize that this is a nasty inconsiderate place to spend my hard earned money. The customer service from the staff is at best good but the fact that they charge so much and now even for the always complementary coffee they are changing extremely a lot of money not to mention as one of the staff members told me they got rid of breakfast and so they got rid of coffee cups and served my super expensive coffee in a water glass. This is a pathetic place and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PLACES TO EAT CAUSE THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT

Hadn't been here in years but much hasn't changed. Some of the staff do not speak English and by the time u get a translation u get a different food selection mindset. Food is still the same, canned veggies, some of the fruit as well. Carpet is really nasty and gives a feeling of uncleanliness. It's not my go to place but we were coming in from a long road trip and we decided to try it. Won't be back

I watched a manager put her bare hand into a box of someone's dinner rolls and touch each one of them to count them. The man had ordered 2 boxes of dinner rolls with 24 each. There were only 12 per box. Regardless, you don't put your dirty hands into someone's food! That's disgusting! As for my own experience. They were supposed to deliver my Thanksgiving food at 11:00 am. I kept getting messages from door dash about the delivery being on the way. 2 hours later I was picking up my food myself and had to argue with a manager about where I paid for it! I ordered the food from their site and paid for it there also! I had the receipt on my phone! Anyway, I was very sick, trying to do everything for my mother who has dementia and for myself and I didn't need the Hassle!! I won't be doing it again.

went to go to dinner tonight november 14 2022. arrived at 815pm and the doors were locked. sign on road says closes at 9pm. sign on doors say 930. this is the last time i try to go there. that is why they are a failing buffet and grill. spent 0 dollars........i was not the only person trying to get in to eat a dinner.

The food was technically edible. That's the highest praise this place will get from me.. and I'm still not 100% on that fried chicken.This place was a wave of bad first impressions. The first thing I encountered when I got there was a locked front door. I had to walk around to the other side, which is no big deal, but I noticed while walking that the side of the building was rotting away from neglect.It didn't get better from there.The food was extremely bland.. reminded me of cafeteria food from highschool, but worse. The chicken tasted like salt and there was no clean silverware. The only fork in the bin was bent out of shape to the point it was just hilarious that they even left it there.The carpeting in this place looked like salvage pulled from an abandoned building. It was nasty nasty. The tables were also sticky and service was nearly non-existent.I would say this restaurant has the charm of day old room temperature milk.

The Golden Corral on FM 529 in Houston, TX is a pleasant restaurant to enjoy a meal and conversation with your Senior friend. A healthy good meal with your favorite dishes. Good food that sticks to your ribs, but doesn't increase your waistline. The customer service is friendly and charming. They make you feel like you are part of their family. I highly recommend this exquisite dining experience! ❤️

This golden coral has completely taken a dive. I remember the food stayed fresh and hot now all the food is old and stays dried out till some brave soul decides to get it. The ribs that are only supposed to be served by staff were unattended for the first 20 minutes me and my family were in the restaurant. The salad bar is just disgusting. The fruit and vegetable are not washed off and taste like pesticides. The only area that is some what decent is the desert bar and those on diets cannot just eat desert the whole time.

Dietary restrictions: There in not much for someone on a diet. At least not edible anyways. If the food stayed fresh and hot it would be ok.
