Golden Crust in Houston never disappoints! The jerk chicken is my personal favorite—perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. My wife can’t get enough of their meat patties, and we both agree their mac n cheese is next-level comfort food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently flavorful and fresh. Definitely one of our go-to spots for Caribbean flavor in the city!

Generous portions. Friendly service. I tried the Mac and cheese today and it was sweet tasting. Never had Mac and cheese like that before. I can’t say that I liked it. The oxtails were good although the gravy was a little sweet as well.

Very good traditional food. My favorite is the oxtails plate. The gravy is perfect and the oxtails are melting your mouth tender. I went to another popular Caribbean restaurant and was so disappointed by the tough oxtails but not here. They are delicious every time. It’s also a large serving so even though it’s pricey It’s worth the treat. The brown stew chicken and beef patties are also good and my daughter loves the festival.

First and foremost Chantio is AMAZING!!! This was my first time here and she greeted me with a smile and was very pleasant. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made suggestions. I came in for soup and a beef patty and ended up spending way more (50 dollars) because of her recommendations. The portions are great. Give her a raise please and thank you.
Now to the Chef BIG UP YASSELF!!! From a true Yardie di food is authentic and has plenty flavor.

The best patties in all of Houston. Oxtail and chicken taste great. Their service and amazing. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been coming here for years. I remember when they first opened and the food was amazing especially the oxtail but today the food was very disappointing. The price of an oxtail plate is way too expensive for taste and quality of the food to be this poor.

Just take my money. This place always have good food and even better customer service. Beef patties is most, correction 2 beef patties is a must.
