Pros: wide selection of Middle Eastern and Western treats, lots of seating, helpful employees, fast service, huge portion sizes, great value, great hours
Cons: drinks are only ok

Whether you prefer your dessert to be super sweet, lightly sweet, intensely flavored, subtly flavored, cold, room temperature or hot, they've got you covered. You can buy all kinds of packaged snacks here in addition to their baked goods and ice cream. I'm a big fan of their ice cream and desserts that look like fruit (they're actually filled with fruit flavored mousse and fruit pieces)! If your tastes are more towards ridiculously sweet, then I'd recommend any of their tres leches, or if you like more subtle flavors or lightly sweet treats then I'd recommend the other cakes or baklava. They also have a freezer section with interesting imported drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and some delicious pre-packaged ice cream. As far as drinks go, their pistachio latte didn't do it for me, and I felt the tiramisu latte (with an ACTUAL chunk of tiramisu cake floating in it!) was a bit too decadent, but the pistachio frappuccino was pretty good. I would 100% recommend this as a great place to get dessert, whether you're on the go or want to stay a while chilling with a friend!

I had such a pleasant experience at Golden Roastery! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service made us feel truly welcome. I ordered their Arabic/Jordanian coffee, and it was absolutely amazing — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with cardamom. You can really taste the authenticity in every sip. We also had the Kunafa, and it was delicious — fresh, perfectly sweet, and beautifully prepared. Everything felt high quality and made with care. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Middle Eastern flavors in Houston!

Loved their dubai chocolate and fruit desserts. While a bit pricey, I believe it’s worth it!

Place was nice. But was very disappointed in the fruit pastries. Only a couple of them had any crunch, some of the filling wasn't Will good as far as taste. The Dubai chocolate was good but felt like the kataifi was a lil overpowering. Could use a lil more of the pistachio. Will try Suzies Pastrie next.

I can’t say enough about how amazing Golden Roastery is! Their sweets are on another level — the Dubai chocolate, the knafeh, and even the Turkish delight are absolutely outstanding. Every bite tastes fresh, rich, and made with real care.

Their coffee is incredible too! Whether it's their regular coffee or the Turkish coffee, it’s always perfectly brewed, super flavorful, and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had.

The whole place has such great vibes, amazing service, and everything tastes like it’s made with love. I truly recommend Golden Roastery to anyone looking for top-quality sweets and unforgettable coffee. They really deserve all the praise! 💛✨🥰🥰

Stopped by there today. Wonderful store. The turkish and arabic sweets are wonderful and the Turkish Coffee was out of this world. The gentleman working the counter had me sample some arabic coffee as well and I could tell he definitely appreciates coffee enthusiasts.

First time coming to Golden Roastery and I know I’ll definitely be coming back! Not only because I live nearby but the food and hospitality were amazing! I am not familiar with a lot of these pastries and snacks but I went it and everyone was friendly and answered my questions which made the experience even easier and special. All the treats that I got today were so tasty and the signature pistachio matcha latte was a hit!!! Do yourself a favor a please visit them 💚
