I’ve been here a few times but never left a review. I’m a seafood lover and love their fried seafood options. They have some of THE BEST Tartar SAUCE Ive ever had. I also really enjoy their fried green tomatoes. I wish they fried their catfish fillets whole instead of cutting them up but overall it’s delicious. This drink was a No for me. It was strong but the olive was throwing me off. It wasn’t a dirty martini I think they called it the Mexican margarita

First time eating here was amazing. The second time wasn’t so great. I don’t know if it was just a very busy day but I ordered the crabmeat fettuccine I almost choked on a crab shell. There were so many shells that I had to spit them out in a napkin after every two bites. I love that the pasta contains real crab but I should not be spitting out shells.

David S was worth his weight in gold! Excellent service. Very knowledgeable about the food and he sold it with a smile. The campechana was my favorite. The fried green tomatoes were cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning. I had the special mesquite grilled redfish topped with a shrimp sauce. He said it was “lightly” seasoned and that was certainly true. It was otherwise ok. Everyone who ordered the crabmeat fettuccine was without complaint. We also ordered Laguna Madre and I was told the sauce is what made the difference for that plate. It was an experience for sure. Definitely a senior crowd but nice atmosphere.
My husband and I went in after a late night, marriage conference at Lakewood Church. Was a very many people in there at that hour, but the service was amazing and the food was delicious! We will definitely be going back for a date night.
