Third time in a period of two months was served pork red curry (guisado) that's supposed to be kept at a safe serving temperature was served at lower than room temperature--Health Department will visit you soon.

Food was bland the meat tasted sweet in most of the dishes . The only one that was decent was the pork in green salsa . The Pinaple water was warm and tasted spoil . We tough that a taco had a hair the waitress got the food plate and was moving it around and playing with the food we werenât done eating she demanded us to give her the plate when we went done eating and she just took it dropping a fork close to my eye it hit my chest and she didnât apologize or anything . So then we tell the other waitress that we werenât done eating our food and that they just took the tacos and it was rude . She said they wouldnât charge but they still charged . The took for ever to refill water and the chips also the chips were stale . Like I said food was meh the tomato sauce on the cactus taco tasted like spaghetti sauce the meat tacos tasted sweet the tortillas were home made but too thick and dry hard to swallow . Please save your money go to torchyâs tacos is way better .

Nondescript hole in the wall with authentic mexican dishes. Some of the fluorescent lights would turn on and off occasionally, and the furniture is modest. The decor is actually really cute and feels like places Iâve seen near CDMX.
They used to have a large variety of dishes in the $10 lunch special menu but theyâve whittled it down to 6.
The flautas were light in flavor and the rice that went with it was slightly sour, but the beans were smooth and hearty. The fajitas (now $15 off the lunch menu) have shrunk in portion but come with the same sized accoutrements as before.
Used to be a great spot for a budget lunch, now a little less so. Still lovely service (Spanish only!) and authentic mexican feel!

Very delicious, I always go for pozole or pork stew and it is delicious. Just like tortillas. Suggestion that you always make the atole specifically how an atole goes because sometimes it looks like chocolate because it is so liquid and that disappoints me. Sometimes one or another waitress is bad. But everything else is very good.

Restaurantji Recommends
I was lucky enough to try the best fajita huarache, everything balanced, the meat juicy, the soft dough and the crunchy base, the lettuce and its cream, plus the cheese a delight, in fact I sent congratulations to the cooks when leaving, I will return soon , delicious !
Parking: There are few spaces in front, but you can park along it except where it is restricted to other businesses.
Kid-friendliness: Small place but it has a perquera table and seats

I have bought gorditas at this place for many years, I still have no complaints, only about the sauces that are sometimes sour. But today I ate a Menudo for the first time here. It had no flavor, it was like eating only very hot water, the lemons and The onion was already past its rotten smell, presentation and taste, the horchata water tasted sour, the place was very hot without air conditioning, I think one of the waitresses was not at her best, because her treatment was somewhat grotesque.
"This Mexican restaurant offers good service and solid food. My friend loved the chicken gordita, saying it was fantastic. I tried the mushroom gordita, which was decent but not outstanding. They did have a vegan option, but it wasnât greatâdefinitely room for improvement there. Overall, itâs a nice spot with a good variety of dishes, but the vegan offerings could use some work. Still, itâs worth checking out if you're in the mood for some tasty Mexican food."
