If super fresh wholesome ingredients is what you’re going for this is a great spot. The juices are on point. The raw menu is really good. My husband and I ordered the cheesesteak and it was definitely different than you’d expect but that’s because it’s more plant based vegan made with real mushrooms and sauce. The baguette was delicious too. Updated from previous review on 2025-04-23
Hit up this place while visiting Houston with the family. We ordered the cauliflower nuggets, Lil' Red BBQ, and a panini with a side of fries. Portions were small when compared to other places. Nuggets were my daughter's favorite. The dill on the side of fries was a nice touch. BBQ Sandwich wasn't bad. Texture was a bit slimy but very flavorful. My son ate his in 4-5 bites! The panini, however, was too dry. We were left needing more food. Overall, it was a good experience.
This is my favorite restaurant! It’s far from me, but every time I am near it, I get it. I really haven’t branched out too much because I love my meal, but when friends come with me, I get to try theirs too and I’ve loved it all. My go to: Sweet Porta Sandwich with Fries and Hibiscus Tea with Almond Joi smoothie for dessert. The vegan pesto is so good and the fries with a little dill seasoning are amazing and I don’t usually like dill but now I crave them. The smoothie tastes so good, it’s like a nutty shake. As with most veg restaurants I’ve been too, it is pretty small. Service can be a little slow (order at counter) as well as the staff is behind a curtain in the kitchen for the most part. Only like 8 parking spaces but I’ve always been able to get a spot.
Dish was decent, but found the food a bit one note and a bit oily. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-30

Bought some fries from them. I couldn’t eat them because they were super salty. Unedible salty. They wouldn’t replace my fries. They said I had to buy some more. Wow!

Their sign is down but they are still open. Honestly I usually buy something there so I can use their parking lot and go next door but juices are good.

Let me start by saying I love Green Seed and frequent often. Today the taste of the good was great as usual but there was an issue. The bun on my burger was half hard on the bottom so much so I could not eat it. I expect more from Green Seed especially when they are not inexpensive. When a single burger is 15+ I 100% expect fresh and high quality product. I will return because they are usually on point but I sure hope this does not happen again.

They were great with dairy, egg and wheat allergies. Only restaurant my kid's been able to dine at safely in the 4 years of her life. Highly recommend.

Had the Sweet Porta and Green Everything. Delicious and filling. Fast service and a great place to do a little work over lunch/dinner
I found a piece of plastic and an eyelash in my order yesterday. I immediately called and requested a refund and submitted a picture of the contamination. I was told I would hear from management the next day. When I didn’t hear back today, I called again and spoke to two different people who were both dismissive and cynical. I was told management “isn’t available” and won’t be available for me to speak to at all to discuss this experience. I was also told that a refund for my order is “definitely not happening” as they don’t believe there was plastic in my order. I kept the plastic, with the chewed food on it, and told them I would happily bring it back for them to inspect. I was still met with the same answer. Plastic in the body is highly toxic, as we’re all aware, and we get enough of it from the environment we live in. I’ve eaten here many times and am now questioning the quality of the food I’ve put into my body from here. I will never eat here again, and I hope no one else has an experience like this. Management needs to put more emphasis on their quality standards as well as customer service, because there is currently none.
