The food and atmosphere was GREAT for Cowboy Carter Weekend!! We were quoted an hour wait since we didn't have a reservation and that was fine given the weekend. The waiting area was air conditioned and had an outside patio covering! That is necessary for long wait times especially in Texas heat! I was visiting Houston from Boston for the first time so I looked for a good place to eat and vibe. Upon my visit to The Groves Houston, I was embraced with a warm welcome as soon as I walked in. The staff was lively and smiling which made me and my cousin feel special. We did not have a reservation prior to showing up, but Heathe who I believe is the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were seated and waited on.
