Food was good but restaurant was very greasy, oily and filthy. Seeing the poor cleanliness, won't eat there again. No matter how good the food might be, special attention to pride in the work place takes precedence.

I had the the Cajun dog and it was real good it and a nice sauce to it and it had the shrimp on it and more i definitely recommend them I had them at Missouri city Tx 4th event

The dirty rice was cold, it tasted like it had been sitting there for days. The shrimp and crab cake sandwich was so greasy and burned on one side. It wasn't that they were busy, there was just one other person waiting for food. The cook was just standing next to the grill. What a waste of my money. The soda machine wasn't working. The Pepsi and Dr. Pepper had no taste and came out clear.

This is a very friendly place for casual fried cajun food. We had the fried shrimp and catfish, the sub gumbo cup and fried chicken and shrimp. We ordered at the counter and just picked up our food when ready. Bring cash if you don't want to be charged 3.5% for credit card. This place is walking distance from the Doubletree Hotel where we stayed. I would recommend this place if you want casual cajun food.

This place seems out of the way. We got our food to go because we had travelled all day. Service was fast. We ordered a bowl of Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee and beans and rice. The portions were smaller than expected but it’s a good thing. It was so filling and most importantly, food was delicious.

Excellent food at reasonable prices! We stayed at a nearby hotel and this popped up as a restaurant within walking distance. It’s in a strip mall with a bunch of other places to eat, a liquor/convenience store and a bar. Would have given it a higher rating but, like all the other places in this mall, everything was served with plastic dishes and utensils. Are dishwashers hard to come by?

I would recommend this location for a lunch time visit. I came by this location as a result of a recommendation from the local hotel. We walked to this location and found the restaurant with a few people already seated inside eating...a good sign since it was lunch time. We immediately located the specials and the menu. A worker at the register spoke with us about the options available. We selected our lunch items and sat at a table to wait for our order number to be called out. We received the food hot and inspected out containers to see which one is our designated meal. I selected the fish with red beans and rice. My spouse selected the chicken and sweet potato fries. Both meals were great and on time. The workers were capable and worked well to get our order out. The line cook was outside on break and inquired if everything was ok. We said yes and we were happy to see the follow up by the worker/owner/interested party.

I forgot to take a picture because my shrimp was smelling so good. I didn't realize they were about to close but the guy was so helpful with me to place my order. I only ask him if the shrimp was good and I'm kicking myself because every dish that came out of the kitchen looked great. I had excellent service and the best large juicy fried shrimp I could ask for I can't wait to go back again.
Amazing New Orleans style food.. Definitely recommend. Friendly staff and clean. We had the Salmon sandwich & gumbo and crab & shrimp sandwich with mac & cheese.

My coworkers and I take turns visiting this location and the customer service is never great. Some of the men are nice but there is one guy in a filthy du-rag that seems to rub us the wrong way. I'm not sure if he has a mental disorder but he always has to say a smart remark in regards to our order. All my coworkers have experienced the same from this same guy. He is a mean spirited person that I no longer trust cooking my food. I will tell everyone I know how bad the customer service from that man is. SMH!!

The SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT, AND I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE! I was asked do I have covid simply because I asked for a disposable mask upon entering. Then when I returned with a mask, I asked a simple question about the menu and the cashier turned his face up and responded as if I was slow because I inquired was a dish grilled or fried! Not to mention, they have roaches! No one is wearing gloves and the cooks are laughing and spitting over your food with no mask either. Stay far far away!

Always our favorite when passing through IAH. This informal eatery has excellent food that has that southern and New Orleans style. Service is friendly and there is always a good vibe. We had the Biyou Burger, the Jeaux Burger, Grilled Blackened Salad....delicious! You should try this place....way better than anything else in the area.
