The service was good. The food was really good. The atmosphere was ok, it could definitely use some improvement, like better chairs, playing music, tv programming, etc. The place is super clean. The parking lot is very limited. Overall we had a great experience based on service and food alone, it was worth it!

This place is very delicious for sure! You gotta try it. It has a simple and clear menu. I got the chicken arepas, and another time, the beef. I don't know what they are called on the menu, sorry. But, ask the owner - he is very friendly. The owner is friendly and practiced Spanish with me which I appreciate. Because, my Spanish is broken haha. The parking is off to the side of the building on the south side along that side street. You just park in the little lot right behind the building. Don't enter that little driveway right off shepherd (spoken from experience lol!). I think they do good takeout because when I'm there, there are people coming for their orders. Definitely a good lunch type spot to easily call ahead, and come pick up your food.

Delicious Arepas! My fav is reina papiada. They make it fresh so expect a wait time. I usually place my order in to b ready when I arrive it's always warm and delicious. 10/10 I would recommend!

Today I was near Richmond and I searched on Google where they sold empanadas, and I found this place that I loved, the dogfish empanadas were very good, the service was super good, and as the song says, I will return.!!!
I have eaten at this restaurant and I found the food delicious, but this time unfortunately in my opinion the Christmas dish left a lot to be desired in quality and cost, the hallaca was completely dry and the dough was hard, the stew was dry and seemed like it was just chicken, The chicken salad has an extraordinary flavor, but the quantity on the plate is very poor, the ham bread is equally dry and the dehydrated and hard ham, for a cost of $25, I do not recommend it, in my case they were orders to go .

The hallaca, although well seasoned, had the dough a little dry, which slightly affected the texture of the dish. On the other hand, the chicken salad was, without a doubt, the highlight of the dish: fresh, creamy and with a perfect balance of flavors. As for the ham bread, although the dough was delicious, the ham itself was a little dry, which detracted a little from the whole.
Despite these small details, I want to highlight that the food at this place is always very good. With a couple of adjustments to the aforementioned preparations, the Christmas dish would be exceptional. I'm sure they can pull it off, and I will definitely come back to enjoy their food. Thank you for the effort and dedication you put into each dish!
